4.4 Furnishings and Where to Find Them

The Wooden Showcase cannot be crafted for now. It requires Silver Rivets, which are not in game despite databases showing them as GSM24.

I would think someone would have stumbled on it by now if it was in Canals. A lot of players have been grinding that place because they wanted to try the new dungeon "roulette". Even our low pop world has 5 Chandeliers up for sale already.

I'm wondering if they're changing things up and having it a return from Submersible voyages instead of the voyage returning materials to make the item. We already get minions that way so getting a housing item wouldn't be out of place.

I can't seem to find this on any of the Scrip Exchange NPCs, under yellow gatherers' or any other scrip.

Edit: Found it under Red Gatherers' Scrip Exchange (Lv. 50) for 200 red scrips each.
Double Edit: Apparently it's only available from Sanana in Ruby Sea or the Scrip Exchange in Rhalgr's Reach. You can't get it off of the Scrip Exchange in towns.

Triple Edit: Boy this thing is ugly! But it can be dyed, which could lead to some interesting new furnishing combos.

I think I have the perfect spot for it in my yard. I'll try it and post an image. I'll also check to see if it can be seen in the bed of the Garden Pond and Large Garden Pond.

Edit: It really is underwhelming when you see it. Reminds me more of poorly made carpeting. Scratch that: it reminds me of old fashioned "popcorn" acoustical ceilings. Dying it doesn't improve the appearance of the texture.



It doesn't clip the bottom of garden ponds so no pebbles in our ponds.

I'm sure there are some players who will find a use for it in their yards but I doubt it will be popular. I'll go ahead and leave it out in my yard for a while so others can take a look before they buy it (Coeurl Mist 18-60). Once I can get my hands on a birdbath, I'll swap it out since I'm at item limit.

I think it's actually going to work for our house, we have a zen garden and are currently using a snowdrift for it.

Using it in the way pictured here actually reminds me a bit of a zen garden; I could see people using it in that way since it doesn't look much like gravel currently lol
