Lets face it. We all know adding ward after ward is never going to fix the broken housing system. Its an exterior cell with limited capability. Let's also face that a lot of players (my self included) couldn't possibly care less about the exterior cell.

what we really want is an interior cell that isn't the size of an airship cabin. The Apartments we have now are horribly small. They have little to no functionality. What we need are larger interior cells. Their instanced their easier to come by and in my opinion they would go a long way to solving the broken housing system. At least for some of us.

That way the other players who actually want an exterior cell can fight among themselves, while we can finally have fun decorating a worth while home.

Last we heard they had apartment sizes on their list of things to look into. I wouldn't expect anything to come of it before the next expansion though, if even that soon.

This is more or less what I'm thinking. I expect to see the next major update to housing capacity issues in 5.1, most likely adding in apartment sizes. It would be welcome to see them do it before then, of course, but unlikely.

Population doesn't mean much, also I'm on Gilgamesh . There's never been this many plots AND the prices have been reduced dramatically across the board, which is the sole reason why anyone is to believe that there is a lack of plots available to begin with. But since there are thousands of plots, there's always someone willing to demolish or relocate, for the right price of course. Not to mention that auto-demolitions happen every single day,

Yea, I'm sure there's plenty of plots available on the 3rd most populated server (Gilgamesh), all while the 1st and 2nd most populated servers (Balmung and Mateus) have absolutely no plots left.

Not true. Just two weeks ago, I camped and scored a gob plot 50, right next to the waterfall and pools. There wasn't a soul around for hours. This was on a sat, late night.
