Lol, so stick with your low lvl nm then, why you so want high lvl nm when you cant go there?is too risky
Already max lvl and i always skip nm under lvl 28 because is not worth

Idk why you blame ppl who do chain for spawn it while you only afk and watching netflix? You dont do anything for spawn it.

Add a contribution system... well not all is trying to spawn the same thing, but let it record so as if you do content killing mobs to help doing something you will be able to get XP/Light/Reward from fate, if you afk doing no offensive defensive actions... you would get like 10% XP and no rewards or crystals, as in gotta have an activity log... and if you stop doing stuff combat wise... it will fade out in 3-5 minutes and you would lose your chance to gain rewards from fate untill you start doing stuff again, of course a 10-15min CD when just entered instance of course, no need to punish newly entered and motivated players.

It's like you didn't even read the post...at all...Here, let me highlight it for you.

I don't AFK in Eureka. I get parties together in party finder then go in and chain mobs.

Getting to the north area isn't a problem, it's getting there in time when you are trying to chain kill lower area to spawn a different NM.

A lot of AFKers are already AFKing in the north to take advantage of northern NM spawns. And if a south NM spawns, they can just use the return spell to take the aethernet to south mid, while those of use in the southern half that are doing chain kills to spawn a NM have to miss out.

So let me spell it out. AFKers are able to get more of the NM and more of the rewards. Those of us not AFKing and actually trying to help spawn a different NM close to our level get less exp overall because we can't make it in time to the Northern NM in time. Then when we ask for them hold on NM only to be told no they aren't waiting in a not so nice way in shout, it makes you lose incentive to try and chain and spawn the NM you can.

Hmmm AFK and get more exp OR do work and get less EXP because high levels in Northern half purposefully pulled by jerks ASAP to prevent as those of who can't teleport yet.

So some of high level are incentivizing AFKing, because, why should a lower level spawn a NM when it means less EXP and rewards over all? It certainly would be easier to AFK and Netflix if it means you don't miss out on any of the NM.

I'm not sure if anything can actually be done about afkers, I mean it's not just Eureka but you sometimes get them in Alliance raids or Frontlines as well but not much you can do except kick them (providing no one prevents the dismissal). No matter what the content I think most of us can feel a little peeved if one or a few people are not pulling their weight, but what is the true solution to afk really?

I feel that in regards to the NM if it's a group YOU personally grinded out (Let's say Goats in this case) it's your call to decide if you want to pull it or not.

AFK's are only making the problems worse as the nm does scale based on who is in the instance, so they're actually adding difficulty just by waiting in the base camp.

I mainly tank in my group, and I do give people a general five minute wait before I pull in the case of it being my group that spawned it.

I figure the amount of distance to travel and the time it takes to burn the nm will give them enough to jump in and still get gold, but I'm personally not going to wait anymore beyond that.

I feel afks (who are camping for the nm) should honestly just switch to any job that can rez and just help these people out if they get knocked down at the very least. Yeah it's not the most exciting but if you're waiting for that specific one to spawn you're not making the progress go any faster by just standing there doing nothing.

If people waited 5 minutes, I'd be happy with that. But we get people who probably did not spawn the NM who come with their party and immediately pull the NM.

Actually if want to wait 5 minutes for a lvl 25 to goto Luohi or something highend up there is kind of off track as wont really receive any massive XP boos anyway due to the travel points is like 30 and 32, don't want to wait to get it done for personally that is, the most gain is in the grind of mobs 5 levels higher anyway as it is not that fate train friendly as it is in Anemos anyway as it is, be in group with lvl 35 people in the fate train if so and they may give you a ride from point A to B in a two seater mount which is more likely to happen later on with Pagos as there is more for it, thing is most 35s will get better rewarded hitting the actual level 35 content so they may seem scarce as it is for the most part as doing fate train only is bad for lightfarm/loot/special unlocked fates.

Nobody is going to wait 15 minuets for a lvl 20+ to get to a 30+ NM - in an area where they are going to aggro everything, die and/or path mobs into the NM.
Level, like the rest of us did, get your teleport activated and start on the upper levels.
Creating a 'them and us situation' is ridiculously short-sighted and sadly now part of the salt-mine that is Pagos.
Problem being is that it's not low levels creating a "Them and us situation" It's SE designing a system that makes it impossible to create a social environment in an instance that's supposed to be casual. Sure fuck the people who have jobs and can't sit in an instance for 3+ Hours a day. GG SE you've done it again.

I have come across people from EU/NA who do wait before pulling rare targets, I'm one of them and I'm from the the UK so we're not all jerks. It just happens to be that there's a lot of people who are impatient jerks and with the EU and NA players combined being greater than the SEA players you'll come across a seemingly large number of jerks from the EU/NA. Our cultural differences, huge population and land masses means we aren't as close-knit of a community as our South Eastern cousins, and the American lifestyle of living on the edge and being competitive at almost everything has also been brushing off onto Europeans. It's not something that can be easily turned around to make us less selfish and more co-operative with each other since we're probably never going to bump into most of the people we've come across with and that has encouraged more selfishness and hostility and lack of trust from the number of times we've gotten burned by other random strangers. This clearly shows in this game and in many other MMO games where people are too scared of missing out on something important in-case someone else screws it up for them or are just wanting to get things done and don't care how it affects others.

Gaius van Baelsar: Nor is this unknown to your masters. Which prompts the question: what came first, the chicken or the egg?

It doesn't matter if those that spawned it wait, when one impatient player pulls, some will follow, leading to a domino effect where more and more people attack.
