I enjoy Rising Events (event spoilers)

I wasn't a 1.0 player so that was great seeing the calamity. Took lots of screenshots of Dalamud!

Although the "rewards" for these events are always a bit crap I think the events themselves are always fun. The puppet battle of Bahamut was super cute but nothing can top the feels from the year we got the secret room with SE's characters, Yoshi, Soken, Koji etc.

Edit: Well, I thought the event was a bit glitched and there would be a fix incoming for the no NPC. Unfortunately this seems to be working as intended. It seems my thread was created too soon. Sorry guys

Edit 2: I was horribly wrong. This event with its 10 hour windows is actually awful. Welp, learnt my silver lining lesson I guess.

I fangirled so hard when I saw Dalamud in the sky. It's a great feeling to actually see it myself in a currently playable part of the game. It's nice to get in touch with the game's history in playable content.

I would've preferred it in a different zone for better screenshots, but it was nice. I lost all my screenshots from 1.0 so I didn't have any with it.

Yeah, same with me, it reminded me of the other FF games that had that cool secret room

And that dev riding the Nightmare mount the wrong way with a controller in his hand was probably my favourite bit

Yoshi's song for us this year was...ominous to say in the least.

I'd assume it's alluding to the Ascian claims way back in 2.x that we're unknowingly furthering their purpose through our deeds and that the consequences of that are finally going to rear their ugly head in 5.x.

Nothing has top the first rising event. That secret room with the personal thank you for supporting them and listening/reading what everyone had to say in the room was cool I really didn't want to leave the room. It was very touching to me.

There's an NPC across from the stage that you can talk to to enter an instance. Apparently he despawns so you might have to wait a while for him.
