    Normally I’d agree with this. Except the Relic isn’t the issue here. It’s the asinine leveling system gating it. It isn’t grindy, leveling and chaining enemies 6 levels higher than you to do the story content in Pagos is grindy. I would take Atma and books back over this. At least then, I could complain about the RELIC itself, and not the content it’s gated behind.

    So far the only relic that I didn't find "issues" with was the Heavensward one (that's not to say their weren't some annoying parts to it)... and it's the only one I feel that they nerfed over time so that someone can easily go grind it out if they wanted to just get one for style at this point.

    Seriously, this is the biggest problem I have with chaining. When you start, you pretty much need to finish a chain right then and there or you could risk it falling off. And also, tanks are punished severely here because they HAVE to keep pulling or else they risk the chain falling off. They can't afford to take breaks until a chain is finished or if it drops for whatever reason. It also doesn't help that we have a bug where the chain will randomly drop or not give exp. While I have no issue with the HP levels of the mobs in Eureka, we definitely need a higher chain timer.

    nah see.. the problem here is when you look at the bigger picture which you and all the idiots that complained about anemos FAILED to do. this is supposed to be an easier way to get a high level weapon for the casual player who doesn't have time to get into raid groups because they idk have a life!? But now wee have pagos which isnt lengthy because thats the most ideal way to get a relic. its lengthy like this because square enix is trying to FORCE you into playing the game for longer between updates. Its not even subtle theres no reason that someone like me who works full time with a shitty schedule should be this far behind because i couldnt play the day it released. i get that yes i should be behind but its so bad that other players in my boat just dont wanna play the damn content. they quit after 30 mins then its back to the party finder for another 30 just to rinse and repeat. Its not engaging or rewarding enough for new players to wanna jump into it. I get 6 hours a day on a work day to play ALL my games.. do you think i WANT to sit here and grind mindlessly for all 6 just to STILL be miles behind? Anyways with WoW's new expac out Square enix is going to have to make this more engaging or people are gonna switch over till they do.

    As several above also stated party sync needs to exist so those above us can help the lower ones. im literally stuck at 21 cause theres at most 2 parties of 21's a day doing things

    I think for me the primary issue is the conscious knowledge that I have to keep pressing my leveling pace so to not miss the critical mass of players in the same level bracket to effectively level and have safety in numbers.

    Level syncs for parties would alleviate some of that pressure as it's easier to group up with a small compromise rather than outright voiding any benefits. I think the bunnies are a nice touch to give some incentive for max ELs to come back after getting their relics so the drop off isn't so sharp.

    I'm generally fine with the mechanics of Pagos - no mounts until max EL, each level takes a while, NM spawn rates. Eureka has rekindled the fond memory of players helping each other. When dying has a huge penalty, a rez is vastly more appreciated. I had some fun going on small rescue missions to rez fallen players calling out for help. I was also on the receiving end having good Samaritans who risked trekking out of their way to rez me. When treking through high level monsters, some higher EL players sleep / pull the mobs so it creates a pocket for lower EL players to run though to get to the NM.

    Admittedly I wouldn't play a game that is entirely like Eureka - but as a zone I can switch back to casual FFXIV when needed.

    I completely disagree with those saying mounting should be allowed from the start. One of my favorite things in Eureka has been EARNING the ability to move around safely. You start at lv 1 and you are truly weak. No other content in this game right now is as rewarding for grinding out your level IMO. In Anemos you had to take long paths around, or be very good at sneaking to take the fastest paths, and I feel the same with Pagos, though a ton of it can just be skipped as soon as you get the level 21 crystal.

    There are a lot of great suggestions here though.

    These zones do need more meat. More items to earn.

    Why are we only getting recolors of items already in the game? If that is all they're giving us, there needs to be MORE item, or they should have put in some original gear. Why not give us some cool gear for the colder climate?

    Why did they get rid of stuff for gatherers from this type of content? That was one of the best things in Diadem. I would still go into Diadem if I didn't need two people to go in right now.

    I do think the elemental conflicts need to give more. I've literally done ONE. I was looking forward to Pagos, I'm a HUGE fan of XII, and the happy bunnies seemed like a great idea. But there is a chance you get NOTHING for helping. No Crystals, no nothing. A small amount of EXP and crystals (Less than the NMS) would have been nice.

    Daily quests that fleshed out the lore more (something like leves? Since we're no longer getting battle leves in the main game) would have been FANTASTIC in Eureka.

    Having daily quests would be a tremendous help with the grinding and let people do it at a slower-yet-reasonable pace while also not murdering their soul. Considering the entire Eureka content package is about exploration and research of a new area of the world that has a bunch of strange things going on, it wouldn't even be that difficult to give players a couple of daily tasks to help the NPCs that are trying to figure out how this place works.

    they didn't even manage to make it worthwhile for that. you can get a 370 weapon every week just by doing lighthouse now which is the definition of casual content

    I disagree with what you said about square enix making something that was not going to be received well. I think they knew 100% that it wasn't going to be received well because it's literally the return of Diadem which is content no one cared for until they gave you incentives to actually do and now they're shoving it down everyone's throats for anyone who wanted to do the relic. Except this time it is actually worse than before because now they made it an unfun and tedious mess.

    You guys do know how to actually let the devs know its bad content right? Stop playing it. Look at Lords of Verminion, they havent touched that content aside to add it to Duty Finder since its release. Why? Because its dead content and no one plays it and its been that way since a week after its release. However, I log into Anemos/Pagos and its a full instance every time even now.
