Viera as the next new race~ Show your support

I love the Viera but I think I'd prefer something new for Eorzea. Not everything has to be derived from other Final Fantasy games.

But ... you got the Au Ra.
Am I mistaken? are they not a brand new race?

They are and I like them! I still don't see why we need to bring over the Viera race though rather than just give us a new one.

A lot of the jobs, races, etc, are designed to be nostalgia from other Final Fantasy games. Yeah, they'll throw in the odd curveball here and there, but for the most part, it's "nostalgia nostalgia look at it and recognise it you sheep" (to quote TheYamiks from his Krait Mk.II "review") - note that I am not trying to call anyone here sheep, just pulling that quote because I like it and it seems relatively apt here.

As for Viera, not something I'd use, but more options are good.

i think Viera is just wish for those who want play a female character..... so im for more face options and totally more customizable options with current races

They are and I like them! I still don't see why we need to bring over the Viera race though rather than just give us a new one.

I'd rather they bring in what seems to clearly be the most wanted race and then make up new ones later than to skip it a 2nd time when they've clearly been working on it but that's just me.

I have seen quite a few people interested in the male ones. They're similar to male miqo'te (the slender, toned prettyboy look) but taller and their faces could probably go either way (could be more "fierce" or could be gentler). Sort of a cross between miqo and Au Ra. I'd be a female bunny, but I'd love eyeballing the boys running around.

As races all have two tribes, I hope they're one of the tribes of Viera should they be added.
