Tickets are all gone for fan fest

I called ShowClix and told them what all happened. Told them people were able to bypass the queue, and get in without a code. And that Square Enix is responsible for it. showClix did say though that they would tell their engineering team about what happened.

But yeah. It's all SquareEnix's fault. (Though I still believe ShowClix is to blame as well still.)

They did say it will be broad cast and players will get items proved later on. So in reality the only thing your saving is the admission, travel expenses. Now unless this is the me time to get away from GF , Family, or Wife, just go on your own anyways lol

For me, this was about a chance to meet one of my former static members, and my EB partner, at somewhere we'd both be able to enjoy ourselves and feel safe going to. Given I'm UK and she's Finland, there is no chance in hell we're gonna go somewhere to meet up unless there's an event we're both going to. I hope the EU one isn't this catastrophic.

You miss out on the physical items, meeting people from your server, seeing the reveal trailer and panels with a ton of fans, the live concert, the art contests and all the other things that make the Fan Festival great.

Legacy player, been subbed for 1,680 days. Ex-Prog Raider, a very active PvPer, currently attempting to make it into regional Championship at Fanfest itself... Showed up at 12Pacific to buy a ticket, queue lead to a sold out page. I don't think I will be supporting SE after this, and many other disappointments over the years.

Also, this is the same system for San Diego Comic-Con and it's causing the same kind of grief. I know it's supposed to be fair, but it sure doesn't seem that way.

As someone who goes to SDCC, this is not the same and I actually prefer this system. This is a queue. It lines you up in the order that your internet connected. SDCC is entirely randomized. Everyone enters the waiting room, waits for however long the waiting room is open (usually an hour), randomly assigns everyone a number in the waiting room, then finally queues you in based on the random number you got.


If yall think this was rough you'll never survive SDCC's rush lol

I also find it somewhat hard to believe this game has grown to the extent that tickets are sold out within 30 minutes, especially when they were sitting there for several hours when Las Vegas 2016 Fanfest tickets were on sale.

I dunno how popular the game is or if select tickets were reserved for the jp promo someone posted above. I was commenting on how FF isn't handled like SDCCs- It sucks when you come out empty handed, but (imo) this isn't half as frustrating as a lottery.
