Can we get a buff to the platinum hoards in HoH please?

You only get the pomander if you open treasure chest and my experience so far was that speedrunners often ignore them to finish the floors as fast as possible. And again even with the right pomander it does not even mean that you have a chest on your floor. I ran 71-80 once and got two hoards. Generally we were quite unlucky with that pomander and with getting them. Both of the hoards had bad content, one being useless materia and the second was a new crafting material that was already quite dropping in price, so if I needed it I could just buy it anyway.

While in Eureka you can afk in town with your group, go to a spawn, hit some random buttons and get your chests. (And no I am not fine with the content of the chests either but they are still far easier to get than the HoH ones)

True however you still can get drops and on speed runs the lowest I've gotten have been 5 so far. Hence if you have a competent team it is possible. Now if you just want to farm them as a priority good luck doing that on higher floors. 81-90 normally get 5- 6 on a speed runs and that was using intuition. We just got lucky I guess.

Confetti in general needs to be removed as a "reward" I'd 100% perfer to literally get nothing.

So my group wiped on floor 99 to terrible consecutive floor debuff RNG, and all we had to show for it was 7 platinum sacks each. The only thing of note was a Sephirot rapier, everything else was garbage tier materia/songs/minions that come from the lower tier sacks.

As for it being quick? That run was a total of 5+ hours, with breaks for lunch/bathroom included. 5 hours, for a grade 5 mind materia. Yay.

The content literally just opened, and everybody is running it. Do you want to tank the economy even further by removing all the junk items? Because then there will just be so much of everything else that they all become the new junk.

Again that is purely luck. I got two and that was only because I popped the poms we got, while the rest did not care that much for it either. And since you get the highest ones only after 71 you also need to take in the time to always get there too. Next to that Eureka is a cake walk.

They should just give fewer sack drops with better rewards. Same with Eureka.
It's just more pointless busy work opening them - and the cynic in me keeps thinking they just want to fill our inventories so we have to spend real cash to expand them.

I agree that the fluff rewards should be removed from the higher-tier sacks. Opened up 4 platinum sacks after my last run, and 2 were Grade V materia, a common orchestrion roll that I already owned, and a Clear Demimateria II. Yay. >.>

The only things you could possibly tank are Empyrean Clay, Empyrean Pine Log and the Dodo Horn. And even then, the Dodo Horn on my server went from 100m to 30m within two days. So even without buffing it's already dropping.

The Palace hoards dropped way more valuable items than HoH, and those stayed relatively stable even though 151+ was raining Dead Hive/Expanse/Round weapons.

I agree that they should be buffed. I got to floor 100 yesterday for the first time. In all the platinum hoards my group had (which were 7 per person) were only trash items, like dyes, Grade V Materia, minions we already had and old Orchestrion rolls that none of us even needed(and that can't even be sold at a good price anymore). Granted, one of us got an Axe of the Fiend, but that was it. I was pretty disappointed, since the rewards from PotD's higher floors seemed much better and more valuable back then.

But oh well...:/ At least you can get a guaranteed mount this time when you make it to the top four times...I should at least be happy about that I guess u_u

EDIT: Now at our second time, we had 12 hoards each! And again only trash for all of us. Either we have really bad luck or...ugh...I dunno
