would you all like some chesse with your wine? HoH is meant to be run multiple times and it's an MMO. If you got everything right away what would be the point of playing?

I mean, it's pretty disappointing that the new hard content is just full of recycled loot from old content, not to mention terrible for the economy. But I do love cheese and wine.
Because a lot of people wont constantly run these higher floors because it still takes hours to even get to the point where maybe some of those hoards can drop? And seeing how its the highest one, this should also be shown in the rewards.
Yeah these Eureka chests that you get in great quantitiy at every fate, no matter the level, are surely worse than those high tier hoards which you can only get after 71+, which means hours and hours of running it and if you are not lucky you might not even find a hidden treasure chest.

Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IX Q&A Summary (10/30/2013)
Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
Hmm I don't agree with that you can pretty much speed run them and if your on a group of 4 players with 99/99 you can reach floor 80 fairly quick and still gather some decent magicite and items while speed running it. Average 10-15min for every 10 floors 21-50, 15-30 min floors, again every 10 floors, on floors 60-80, 30-45 min on floor 81- 90, currently stuck on 90. If anything the mobs are more dangerous than the bosses -.- the hoards really vary if your using intuition.
You only get the pomander if you open treasure chest and my experience so far was that speedrunners often ignore them to finish the floors as fast as possible. And again even with the right pomander it does not even mean that you have a chest on your floor. I ran 71-80 once and got two hoards. Generally we were quite unlucky with that pomander and with getting them. Both of the hoards had bad content, one being useless materia and the second was a new crafting material that was already quite dropping in price, so if I needed it I could just buy it anyway.
While in Eureka you can afk in town with your group, go to a spawn, hit some random buttons and get your chests. (And no I am not fine with the content of the chests either but they are still far easier to get than the HoH ones)

True however you still can get drops and on speed runs the lowest I've gotten have been 5 so far. Hence if you have a competent team it is possible. Now if you just want to farm them as a priority good luck doing that on higher floors. 81-90 normally get 5- 6 on a speed runs and that was using intuition. We just got lucky I guess.
Again that is purely luck. I got two and that was only because I popped the poms we got, while the rest did not care that much for it either. And since you get the highest ones only after 71 you also need to take in the time to always get there too. Next to that Eureka is a cake walk.True however you still can get drops and on speed runs the lowest I've gotten have been 5 so far. Hence if you have a competent team it is possible. Dude, no one is asking for the mount to be a guaranteed drop, but you would assume with the sack being a higher grade, there is less chance of confetti and G5 materia. At least Eureka literally threw lockboxes at you and all drops came from the same item, this doesn't throw hoards at you at every turn.
♥ Baby, tell me, what's your motive? ♥
