It’s really hard to find party finder groups that can clear Tsukuyomi extreme at the moment, be it “farm” groups, “kill for a friend”, “practice”, etc.
It doesn’t help that every group uses a different strategy, markers, no markers, or the markers are never put in the same spots.
People don’t seem to be able to orient themselves to pick the right marker to drop the meteor intime or to remember where to place it (a, b, c, etc) and get there in time to create the safe spot. You don’t get a lot of time to run to your marker and back to the safe bit (depending on how the groups do the markers). Or they forget to switch dark to light to reset stacks.
It reminds me of deltascape 2 savage (with the meteors and remembering which positions to go to and when).
The annoying part is when you wipe you have to keep going back through phase 1 and the ads again which takes a bit of time and often groups fail because of bad dps.![]()


This sounds like a bot farming thing, or something. They're trying to get bots leveled up as fast as possible.Names will go unnamed but I had a run a few days ago with a MRD and an ACN (no I am not mistaken) in Qarn. Both of them were level 40, no jobs unlocked, and were wearing the level 15 gear you get from Hall of the Novice + the level 15 weapon.
They weren't new either despite their sprout icons- they knew exactly where to go, what to pull, how to use cooldowns, and what tablets were needed to unlock the room to the final boss. They even passed on gear upgrades. I'm very sure they wanted to be in some person's "healer horror story" post, so I guess I'm obliging them in that regard, but I wish SE would put safeguards in place to prevent that sort of thing in DF. I join groups in progress to help clear even if I have to drag everyone across the finish, but... that was a pretty borderline case. (I stayed for the BLM who was actually trying and seemed grateful for me being there keeping that marshmallow-soft tank alive.) People who don't give a rip about being a burden on their teammates shouldn't get to participate in the first place.
If they were bots that is pretty smart. Cuz you need 3 people to kick someone in light parties.



So this will be more of a SE you can't keep on allowing this rant than a this person was just god awful rant. Yesterday me and a friend got Amdapor Keep hard for our 50/60 and had a sch who was in the now free ilv90 mythic set. I was tanking on war and I know I'm not the best war and I normally don't mind gear as skill can trump bad gear. However after 4-5 wipes later, one on trash the rest on the 1st boss we vote kicked the sch. I even said hey you need any tips please say something on one of the attempts. SE really needs to put a min ilv on stuff because the free hand outs don't cut it. I don't know how many times I've done "harder" things like primals or the 24 mans and just left people on the floor because I know due to their very low ilv they don't have enough HP even unweakened to live through a hard hitting mechanic. We did get a replacement and the rest of the run went smooth.

Our tank was in a combo of lvl 15 through 20 gear and insisted on pulling entire zones from boss to boss and when the healer could not keep him alive, berated the healer for being bad. After multiple wipes he pulled them one pack by one going out of his way to pick up each and every mob in each and every nook and cranny cause "tank is the leader and determines the pace, you are all just along for the ride and should be grateful he doesn't vote kick the healer"
At this point it was as if we all communicated telepathically and we made the tank continue to tank as we each killed things as slowly as we possibly could each on a different target, healer didn't dps and didn't heal til tank was under 20%. The tank rage was pretty funny though. Thank the twelve for Netflix and running a whole dungeon will only tapping 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 when we weren't just flat out auto attacking. Last boss took ages but the rant from the tank made it amusing at least. We assumed he would leave and we could get someone with a decent attitude, but they never did.
At the end, other dps says "and that's what you get for being too cocky as a tank, learn to not be such a &#*@*%#^$*# next time"
Hate diva tanks but love teaching them lessons.

Get thrown into Dzemael Darkhold in Leveling roulette. I hate that place, because tanks always try to cheese it or pull wall to wall knowing they won't survive it, then they typically quit. That's exactly what happened. Me and the two DPS clear the trash and first boss with no tank. We get a replacement at that point, who proceeds to try to pulling everything in the second area, and can't hold hate for nothing. We wipe in seconds, and at that point I just left. I don't get why tanks think they're invincible in that dungeon. Like seriously, its a leveling dungeon, not a 50/60/70. You're never going to survive those pulls, ever. Cure II spam with PoM & Largesse both active and they still drop like boulders with rockets attached to them. I guess I should just start Nope'ing out of that place as soon as I see it from now on. 100% of runs end up like what I described.

The minimum item level is i90 though, they would have been fine.
That's the equivalent of someone having i290 gear in Kugane Castle or i330 gear in Swallow's Compass or Ridorana, they can't perform as well as someone with better gear obviously but you can't say clearing with them is impossible, or at least you can't say it's due to their gear.
This is not a duty finder story exactly, but I did not know where else to put this. It made me laugh and I thought I would share.
Last night I was doing the FATE in the Steppe where you milk sheep. As I turn in about 12 buckets, I see "The smell of death has drawn The Forlorn to the battlefield."
Death? Battlefield? I'm just yanking on sheep man, what the hell. What kinda pervy Forlorn did I get that it's sneaking around watching me milk sheep?
