What jobs are we hoping to see in the next expansion?

puppet master (or rather minion master) that uses minions to attack might be a cool idea.

Geomancer is expected as it was often raised in SB.
Dancer has quite a lot of demand from players.


Definitely need tank and healer role in the next expansion. Perhaps either 2 healer classes or 2 tank classes in the next exp (or 1 each)
No more DPS roles for the time being please.

Gunblade Job!

Not some tacky weapon skin for X Job but a real Gunblade Job!

If 5.0 is going to be a Garlean Empire Expansion then nothing screams a Garlean Empire theme Job than a actual Gunblade Job.

I still say I'll be shocked if we get a tank and healer next expansion. Geomancer seems to be the most hinted at and an original FF14 job wielding a gunblade "might" be hinted at with us going to Garlemald.

However the player base seems to really want Blue Mage and Dancer so they "may" be put in if they can make the lore work with them.

I don't think they will ever do a Beast Master or a Puppet Master considering all the trouble they've had with Summoner not feeling like a Summoner and them not getting new pets except in glamour form.

They mentioned Arithmatician, Templar, and Geomancer in the 24 man quest line. Maybe the Templar could be the name of the Garlemald job? Arithmatician seems like it would be overly complicated if it worked like in FFT. Maybe if it was a healer and all it's abilities were math themed? Still seems far fetched.

If we're going to Garlemald for the next expansion, I'd like to see the jobs based around it like they were for HW.

Gunhammer tank like Nero and that one Roe
Gunblade Dps
Some kind of chemist healer. Since they can't use magic, maybe they'd have something like machinist's lunchbox to draw aether and convert it into various effects that they would shoot to allies/ enemies.

I like guns. Garlemald likes guns. It's a perfect fit, right?
