This. Or you can replace Innovation with Tricks of the trade (which would eat the „excellent“) in a macro. Of course you‘d lose around ~1‘800 quality.

    Yeah, that will do it.

This will work only if the Innov is sitting right before the Miracle, right? So you mean replacing Innov with Trick in a macro AFTER switching SH2 and Innovation around as suggested by Espritduo above.

No, just replacing Innovation directly with Tricks of the Trade in a macro, meaning no more use of Innovation. This will reduce quality and CP.
It's not ideal, but if you have a few HQ mats anyway, then it may be a solution.

So this is Liam's rotation (small adjustment, as last "Prudent Touch" can be replaced by "Basic Touch"): (529 CP)

You can shave off another 8 CP for a small loss in quality (~300): (521 CP)

This is the rumination rotation: (530 CP)

This would be the adjusted rumination rotation for less CP but less quality: (512 CP)

As you see, it produces slightly less quality than Liam's (adjusted) rotation, but it needs 17 CP less.
And it's "poor"-proof, as you can add a Tricks of the Trade before Stead Hand II:

An "excellent" before Steady Hand II would be eaten by Tricks of the Trade, meaning no poor on Miracle.

Also, you could choose to spend 8 CP more and replace the second Ingenuity with Ingenuity II:

Also, since you don't need as much craftsmanship, you can switch food to Matcha OR Seafood Stew for more quality:

As for the 4.3 gear, I see the progression like this:

    Minimum Crafts/Control:
    518 CP (after buffs)

    536 CP (after buffs)

    Once you have ~1'600 craftsmanship:
    531 CP (after buffs)

    549 CP (after buffs)

Ah, I see now. Because you can't have two Goods or Excellent side by side, so if the Trick goes off, you definitely won't have a Good or Excellent on the SH2, thus the Miracle is safe.

These are good, but I don't think I'll be switching specialists... need more red scrips for overmelds of Tier Vs. So I'll be utilizing non-specialist rotations... I'm just using Maker's Mark rotations to be safe at the moment, since I have only got 1 new accessory and a pair of new pants.

So, I tried to come up with a non-specialist rotation with my basic stats for the 4.3 gear. I've figured that, for now, since I won't have all the mats necessary before a while (darn namazu and Rhalgr money), I'll stick to crafting the tools.
After twisting my brain here and there, I came up with this:

It's not so great since you'll need 12000 starting quality, HQ tempura and HQ cunning tea. However, I think it's not too difficult to achieve.
Of course, there's always the MaMa alternative that works like a charm, but it's long and eats too much on your food and medicine.

Edit: damn I'm bad at dimensioning images. Here's the direct link where it can be zoomed in https://imgur.com/VlQ0g1L
Edit2: Ok, didn't realize that 12000 starting quality was that much HQ mats so... not even a decent rotation, actually.

the good thing about this rotation though is that its simple and since we would naturally be taking less risks to create our upgrades thus using more hq if not full hq this will work well. its not 100% but its not far off that the risk isnt acceptable.

plus once you have crafted your own gear and added about 350 extra control (according to the simulator) you could half the hq mats required and hit 100%.

with the increased stats from all the new gear and melded this could even be a good enough rotation for the next set of raid gear. but only time will tell on that

either way i just started making my new set this evening before maintenance stopped me so if i get chance tomorrow i will be giving this a go.
