Who all beat Red Chocobo Ex? (possible spoilers)

I haven't even logged on yet. I downloaded the update yesterday evening when I got home but I have zero hype / interest for the patch.

No one cares.

I died 3 - 4 times. People kept running off with my chocobo too! At one point I just crossed my fingers and hoped for the best; it seemed to work. There were over 20 people there when I did it, for sure!

I'm yet to even see what this is about! I logged out in Yanxia before the patch and logged in there only to see shouts for revives and curses addressed at said chocobos. ;; I can't wait to see what that is! Still about 10 hours before I can play again tho.

It will die down in the next few days. What I did though was, I found a spot that no one else was near and just pulled my chocobos there. Done and done.

latency killed me first; I thought there were just a few of us (I started early too around 8am EST) but when I got near the spot, people and meteors start spawning, and the rest is history especially me xD

I was able to pull my marks near the water away from most people, my birb companion tanking for me, that's how I got through it

Got it done here, we had a massive group killing and healing. Died once and had to reset as someone got my aggro and they died before I could hit and get the approved tick. After that I stuck around and healed and raised for about half and hour with other healers. Got kindness of strangers achievement 3&3 (I haven't been in Eureka much so I'm quite happy with that)
Really fun though. Very enjoyable. Can see it being tough in future when you don't have 3/4 healers on call and 10-20 other players helping dps

I got meteor'd right as I exited the cutscene.

You can either walk through the circle then keep walking until no one is close to your and just wait there until the birds come to you or you can spawn them and let other players kill it for you

It made me wonder if it was just exponentially harder because of all the other people, or if it's going to be difficult for people to solo in a week or two.

I just did it this morning with only few people there and avoided making aoes~
