    The Blackest Night: If the target is healed while under the effect of The Blackest Night, gives a shield equivalent to 10% of max HP to all allies in range. Range: 25y.
    Consumes Dark Mind and Shadow Wall upon execution. Shield is enhanced by 4% for each ability consumed.

    Now DRK is truly between WAR and PLD /s

    Blood Weapon is one of the few things that work just perfectly and is fun to use.

    Sorry, my whole post is a sarcasm
    Both WAR and PLD have a kind of slow gameplay, almost only GCDs with like 2 oGCDs once every 30s, and that's exactly why I love DRK. Because I have to push more buttons, it feels more fun to me. If all tanks have 3 GCD combos which are mostly the same (hate, raw damage, DoT/damage boost), with the same pace, what's the point of job diversity ?

    Also, do people really have a hard time double weaving oGCDs ?

    EDIT: YES PLEASE, keep Blood Weapon as it is.

    I mean, unless you have like 100 or more ping, you can double weave without much problem, even during Blood Weapon. The offtank opener is like 4 double weaves in a row, otherwise you're capping your mana way too much, or delaying all your buffs.
    For example, a ninja has to double weave to throw a Fuma (Ten > Ninjustsu), and that's possible without clipping as well (considering a NIN GCD is shorter than a DRK GCD under Blood Weapon).

    Of course, if you try to double weave Plunge, it will clip (I mean, old Plunge, let's see how short the animation is after the maintenance).

    DRK, to me, is in an iffy place even with the newest buffs it received in 4.3. I have all three tanks at 70 and DRK to me seems the least fun to play. While I am glad Sole Survivor finally got reworked after who knows how long, I am not really seeing why SE added Dark Arts to even MORE abilities. Do you think it would actually take 6 months to rework DRK or are we going to have to wait until 5.0 for a new DRK?

    Off-topic:

    I apologize in advance for the stupid questions below. Due to only playing FF14 since late June - early July of last year (basically the start of SB), I am sorta confused why SE took out Scourge? It looked useful (and even relevant) to the DRK's kit. Was there any reason for it to be taken out of the DRK's kit? Was it because the DRK had too many moves or was it just because SE thought the DRK would not need it? Again, sorry if I am asking a dumb or irrelevant question.

    With Stormblood SE took out all those "1 click-apply DoT" actions from the game. Scourge was one of them. Nin, Drg, Mnk and War lost them too.

    There's no dumb questions. Scourge was a GCD that applied a DoT for 30s. It had no mechanic around it, just a plain DoT. I'm glad they took it away, but some people miss that skill (also the animation was really cool).
