    Can we remove the Dark Arts Treadmill?

    I'm starting to tire of spamming it. Even if it's required to use in a majority of abilities just for damage, I really want us to get rid of the whole oGCD Double Weave we're forced to for stuff outside of Carve and Spit. I can only hope they fix this for either late in the expansion or 5.0.

    Yes, this is so aggravating. I would love if Dark Arts was just made a 10 sec buff that buffs our abilities instead of spamming it after every other move....ugh That is the main reason my DRK is sitting in the corner collecting dust. My WAR and PLD are so much more enjoyable.

    The problem is not that we can use dark arts on many skills. The problem is that our MP regenerates fast, and we need to double wave to not cap our MP.
    So, I would like them to increase the MP pool.

    really id like Dark arts to become similar to Huton shorter recast speed the usual Huton stuff but you keep the buff up each time you do Blood spiller/Quistest and Blood weapon can just become a attack modifier

    You have only two weaponskills that do not consume Dark Arts.

    Every oGCD attack can and should be used with Dark Arts.

    Thus, unless you have just completed a combo, you must double-weave in order to use any oGCD attack efficiently. (Unless you need the extra healing when in Grit, every oGCD will have higher rDPS contribution from DA than SE, and SS is always your worst DA consumer.)

    Your comments on said comments leave me confused.

    Probably too extensive for what SE would really do, but the solution I feel to Dark Arts (fitting with it's 4.x theme) is to

    first - make it faster! as quick as a Ninja's Ten, Chi, and Ren actions. Also add stacks of Dark Arts (up to 3 stacks), so DRK can buffer their DA use.

    Some necessary fine points tho: MP cannot regen if DA(s) are active - even when out of combat (to avoid pre-pull cheese). Deactivating the stacks, or letting their 10 second timer (which refreshes each time a stack is added) expire, refunds the DRK the MP cost of each stack (QoL).

    Also if changing Dark Arts.. maybe move it to lvl 30 unlock, alongside Darkside, too..? (in 3.x DS drain was DRK's main schtick, now it is DA spam, so introduce it at the same level; PLD/WAR already have Zerk/FoF at same level. Kinda beside the topic but this irks me.. )
