Or maybe people would do pvp more often if they fixed it.

A large problem with pvp revolves around how the queue works for feast. I always pvp with just one other person so frontlines works best.
Adding incentives that can be purchased via wolf marks would just increase frontlines participation (more than likely).
Everyone needs to stop with wanting exclusive rewards to be readily available. 3 months from now there will be other rewards better than these old rewards, 6 months later there will be newer rewards better than those rewards 3 months ago and in a year who knows if you will still be playing or if the game is still around?
Exclusive, limited time rewards are a poor incentive for PvP.
It's no coincidence that the PvP community has shrunk considerably over the years in FFXIV. It's going to shrink even further unless rewards that everybody can obtain end up becoming the priority. It's not like the people in the top one hundred even care that much for PvP since most of them don't even bother queuing up consistently for any of the game modes by their own admission once they've earned their spot in the top one hundred/they've farmed the latest mount in the new map.
The height of success for PvP coincided with the Garo event which was accessible by everybody who wanted to do it and put in some effort.
I'm not really a huge PvP'er but I started doing Frontline stuff recently for the level 1 Glamour items (Republican so-and-so armor). I really, really hate PvP as a default and avoid it like the plague in any game that has it just because it seems to foster a community where toxicity is tolerated and just saps all fun out of the game for me personally. I've seen that to a degree in FFXIV, and I've also seen the other end of the spectrum where fun is ruined where I join a game and 6/8 of my party are bots and there's no point to even trying to play.
That having been said, if SE were to make older Feast Rewards available through Wolf Marks (Marks not Collars, I won't go near Feast), I might try for some, but ultimately, the reward needs to be equal to the effort. If as some people have suggested it's 20,000 Wolf Marks for 1 Book, 10 Books for a piece of glamour, then there's just no way that's worth the effort. 10K Wolf Marks for a single piece of glamour wouldn't be worth it. PvP is just an unpleasant experience in general, and if I'm spending my time on something like glamour that won't actually progress my character's stats, then I don't expect to have to put in as much effort as a Relic Grind to get it.
In short, I'm fine adding old Feast items to the game through Wolf Marks, but speaking for myself alone, if you're going to make some insane grind out of it, I'm not going to go after it. Glamour isn't worth the stress of putting up with the PvP community for long periods of time. Sorry.
The PvP community of players been shrinking because the current game mode sucks.
The actual trophy aside, the other items are trophies in mount form. Why take this away from players?

I spend long hours to get the feast rewards and that will just ruin any incentive for queuing into feast if you can just buy them online later... 101 how to kill feast with Mog Station.
(EDIT) Lul I am a dummy and can't read that it said pvp store...BUT I would like to see them incorporate something in the long run. I just want don't something I spend long hours on to be easily achieved fast by other people like how it is for pve (Which I do raid and understand those rewards get nerfed as time goes on, but thats what I dislike about how old content just gets pushed out while pvp just fixes what it is already there) but atleast give pvp some type of attention it deserves since it is pretty fun killing players. Not saying atm pvp is perfect by any means and needs to be tweaked a lot especially the fact we can not really do anything against win traders and throwers especially to help with people wanting to stick to queuing into this mess.

Many raiders spent long hours getting specific mounts. They get to enjoy exclusivity for a time since the 'average' player isn't going to be farming something like Kefka on savage anytime soon.
It's amazing how many supposed PvP focused players just seem to want their exclusive rewards at the cost of the game mode itself. The current model isn't working. Tossing exclusive, limited time rewards into competitive Feast is just causing more and more people to stop bothering. It isn't helped by things like win trading being common, either.
Games such as Overwatch have proven that you can have a competitive game mode that isn't layered with exclusive cosmetics. Blizzard even came out and stated outright that they regretted adding the golden weapon skins to competitive PvP there as it led to people signing up to stress and burn themselves out not because they enjoyed it but because they felt obligated to push for them.
OP didn't mention the Mogstation.
And I thought it was the SB changes that killed the Feast?
