It's a bit hard to tell if the other adjustments are inclusive or additional (ie, offensive/defensive buffs, plunge, animation locks + the 8 other usability adjustments.. or are those part of the 8 items being adjusted?)

If they aren't changing Dark Arts then perhaps they will change some other things, such as take off MP cost for TBN and make it a longer CD, take DA effect off Syphon Strike* and/or C&S so you have more spots to hold DA. Something along those lines maybe.
