I can't understand how all you people can't read the original post.
This thread is not to debate the existence of the cash shop, the prices being too high, or what items are in it. It is only for a petition to make certain items account wide when purchased and for all subsequent characters and also retroactively for previously purchased items in the past if the change is made.
Reading is what toxic elitists do. Everyone else is entitled to put their opinion anywhere without the elites trying to impose rules on them.
(Seriously though, when I moved to where I lived now, I was told that 50% of the adult population is functionally illiterate. I thought that was absurdly, impossibly high. 17 years later, I now believe that number may be low. It's shocking how many people in professional settings can't understand basic written instructions, and since this isn't a professional setting it's even less surprising here.)

People "speed read" and skip 80% of the content of whatever they are reading(I've tested it on people...and if I wasn't as detail oriented in my job - payroll - as I actually am, it would have gone through and the field employees would be happy, while the managers/VPs would be pissed)Reading is what toxic elitists do. Everyone else is entitled to put their opinion anywhere without the elites trying to impose rules on them.

+1 agreed, an $18 glamour item should be account wide
Every cash-shop item should be account-wide. Full-stop.
And every cash-shop item should have the option to be purchased with Achievement Certificates as well.
"We want bunny suits for guys!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Ishgard housing!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Viera!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Cloud's motorcycle!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Blue Mage!"-- OK! ✅
"We want the ability to earn past Feast rewards!" - HAHA no that's sacred.
I understand why fantasias and dyes wouldn't be account wide.
But seriously I would buy more outfits at full price if they were account wide. While I mostly play my kitty I want the outfits for my other characters too if I am spending extra on them. Besides $18 for an outfit for one character is horrible.
So yeah. I agree.
Learn to actually read the opening post before you post. Where in the OP was Miste asking for more items to go into the cash shop? She was asking for a lot of the more pricey items to be account-wide, so that it is more worth it to some, and easier to justify, spending $18 USD on an outfit, or $10 USD on a barding.
That being said, the cash shop exclusives, especially the Chinese/Korean ones, would never exist without the cash shop because they are designed exclusively for it; the Chinese/Korean outfits are commissioned by the third-parties that host the Chinese and Korean versions of FFXIV in their respective countries. The majority of cash shop items are old event items that, what do you know, were once available in-game for free.

And put them in the armoire too. Jeez, $36 for 2 outfits and it takes up 10 slots in the dresser, and it almost feels like destroying them.
