POTD floor 200 solo

Yeah I am not even trying to do it anymore. Its just not fun to loose every little bit of progress thanks to a DC that was not even the fault of my own connection..in times where DDOS attacks are happening often and the chaos server being not that stable anymore...not going to throw away hours of my life for that. And when I am finally blessed with a stable connection (the DC on floor 140 hurt like hell..) I have to deal with such a huge amount of RNG?

Like I said congrats to the one doing that but we still need some changes...at least take away the 0 death penality or change it to 3 deaths before we have to go back..

I wish it hadn't been because now SE won't nerf it in the slightest in spite of the fact only one class can do it, the oppressive GarbRNG, the need to know every single caveat and the fact DCing can potentially waste hours of your time. Such a poorly designed system. Grats to the lucky few who were able to spend days of their lives figuring out which mobs on those last levels were even combatable. Just to get a few letters above their head and nothing more. Nothing worse than a game that expects perfection when it in of itself is so god damned flawed.

Grats! I really dislike PoTD, so I've not ever gotten past floor 3. That's not saying its bad for everyone, I just really was like "nope" the 3rd floor in. So its quite an accomplishment you did here!

A challenge is supposed to be challenging. This would require work, experience, and a dash of luck.
What it isn't supposed to be is handed to people on a silver platter. I'm glad we have something exciting challenging.

Canadane, we are talking about something only one job even has a chance at doing, and something maybe less than five people in two years have even accomplished. I don't think it was even possible to solo to 200 pre stormblood, since RDM really is the only job that can blend dps and healing in equal amounts to do so. I don't know how this can be considered a challenge run.

The achievement was added only when RDM was added as such it is intended to be this way and probably they wanted this to be something rare, true I agree that there's a bit too much RNG involved to actually complete the challenge, but I think they geniunely wanted this title to be very rare.
