No, you get to go search for the retainer, go to the correct ward, get placed on the opposite end of the retainer your looking for, buy your gear/item, then rinse and repeat till you have everything you need.

I'll just buy from the search menu and buy a complete set of gear while your still buying you first piece. I mean it, I don't want to catch you buying from the menu since you like the MW so much, you wouldn't want to be a hypocrite would you?

I don't think anyone said they wouldn't use an AH if it were in the game. The only argument I ever read (or wrote) was that an AH wasn't absolutely necessary, but at the very least improvements to the MW were needed.
