To me the axe makes no sense infront of the other weapons.
And the axe is the best looking one. In my opinion, the other weapons should have been designed similar in style to it.

I personally like the whimsical designs of the weaponry, but I agree with others that the devs made a mistake in not keeping all the designs uniform. The axe looks fantastic, but sticks out like a sore thumb among the rest of the weaponry. They really ought to have stuck with one or the other in terms of aesthetics...
They are working on it with 2.0
They are working on it with better party search UI coming with 1.20The amount of people that have left this game in the last 3 weeks is insane. 2-3 hours to form a party. I have experienced 10-30 minute intervals without shouts.
The Seventh Umbral Era quests is continue with 1.20Work on the story line to draw the player in emotionally (most importantly add dubbing). That has always been the main reason I loved the Final Fantasy Series. This game is a giant preview. The patches are just adding to the preview not actually closing the main concerns of the players. The patches are desert, well i am ready to eat dinner.
Or do you mean the main story quest? It's continue with 2.0
that was almost the same idea i had about the bow.. but that we have now? a moogle STANDING on the bow in big size? seems false to me ^^ like it was pasted with glue on it and is falling down every minute.
Hm... been wanting to kill and eat cactuars at the same time... Now my dream finally came true ^^
C'est Vie ou Mort!
Yeah, while we're at it, just add an ezmode button too!... oh wait, it's already in the game, so let's just add an auto-play-for-me button.
As much as I didn't like the MP regen thing from the start, he might have a point...
I mean, since we have mp regen in passive mode and we can cast in passive mode and there is no apparent reason for a mage to go in active mode (I may be wrong, but if i remember correctly there won't be any DoM ws in 1.20) the whole active/passive thing for DoM is just cosmetic, so they might as well extend the MP regen.
It could also be a trait if it's gonna turn out to be OP for DoW
Think of it like this, Active Mode = battle-ready, Passive Mode = Resting/Preparation. That's why it'd be OP'd for any class. I wasn't ever entirely against MP-regen in passive mode, but allowing it in active mode is lame.As much as I didn't like the MP regen thing from the start, he might have a point...

Well from all this bickering I have determined one thing is certain. The game can't be that broken if all we have to talk about is an aesthetic design choice of 1 grouping of weapons. All the other important stuff is fixed right
Personally, I think the weapons fit into FF staples nicely. Moogles have always been cute and off the beaten path, and provide a lighthearted break from otherwise dark ominous tones that some FF games have.

You were right when we still couldn't cast in passive mode, but since we can both active and passive more are "battle-ready".
Don't know if you have any DoM at 50, but if you do you should know that you can do every encounter being always in passive mode. It's not that being in active mode is a bad strategy because of the MP regen, it's that there's just no reason for a mage to go in active mode anymore. So they can either introduce some skills that require active mode (worthwile skills... Damnation i'm looking at you '>.>) or give a trait that allow MP regen in active mode, cause otherwise mages will never draw out their weapons.
