Housing - Furniture Combos

I used the tabletop height glitch on the Oasis Stools. It can still be done now by placing things out of storage onto an Oriental Round Table or a Lalafellin Stool.

I'm trying this glitch to no avail. Has it been fixed since we talked about this? Every time I try to stand on the table (or another one placed nearby) to drop something down, it looks like it's going to stand on the table for a split second then settles down to the floor.
