Carbies, the Mail Moogle, and even the Odin statue itself were never listed as being limited. Their codes had a timer but nowhere did it say the merch itself was limited which leads to the conclusion that future waves would allow for new batches of code. As a person with one of these minions I would shed no tears if you guys were suddenly able to get them as well, doesn't take away from the fact I got a sweet plushie to go with my side of pixels. If an item is listed/sold/made available as a 'limited' item, then no, it shouldn't be made available again, elsewise. Sometimes they do say that they reserve the right to make them available again, but I don't think that always happens? And even though I don't have these things, if I was one of the people who bought/worked towards something that was exclusive, to have it eventually become not-exclusive would make me upset, and reasonably so.

Ya, that was my disclaimer. Randomly removing things from the store, I think that's dumb, and I think those codes should be made available somehow (although I won't say how, given the parameters put on this discussion). I'm just against things that were advertised as exclusive becoming non-exclusive, because I've never had a problem with the idea that some people might have things that I don't. (Yes, a personal preference, I understand. I'm not saying anything against those people who do have a problem with it.)Carbies, the Mail Moogle, and even the Odin statue itself were never listed as being limited. If something was earned ingame and was time exclusive they could be put back ingame later through achievements. (And I still have the opinion that old event items should have been sold at new events again but that ship has sadly sailed already..)
Everything else that you could once get through outside sources like merchandise should be put into the mog station. I am not a fan of the mog station but at least for those items it would make sense. People kinda had to pay real life money to get the items thus its fine if people have to also pay for it when they release them again. One could argue that some items were avaiable for a longer time but that still does not change the fact that they are not anymore. So anyone that missed them thanks to different reasons might never get them. And seeing how glamour, mounts and minions are something that people collect its just bad (imo) that some will never truly have a complete collection and the more they sell those items with merchandise the less someone can have a complete one thus they might feel even less motivated to get the ingame ones.
The only thing that should truly stay exclusive is the 1.0 stuff. That is imo a different game to ARR and they are a big thank you to all those that stayed with them. Anything else should be made available again.

I’ve only been aware of two waves for the Shiva statue, and how quickly did they all sell out? Same thing with the Odin statue: it sold out ridiculously fast, and the only second wave produced was put up on the JP SE store only; the NA store never saw a second wave. While I have no interest in the Odin statue or emote, I know many that do. $150 USD is fairly pricey; I can’t blame the people who wanted it not having the money directly on-hand at the time it was put up for sale. Considering the first wave wasn’t even available for a full week on the NA store, that’s not even enough time to get in a new paycheck from most jobs. Sorry, I still don’t see the reason in timed exclusivity.

I feel the 1.0 stuff is a set of special cases, and should not return. As others said, different game.
The rest should be available somehow at some point. I'd be a fan of making them rare items that retainers brought back from ventures on occasion, or added as drops from a new NM system that mirrors FF XI's Where a NM pops in the open world after a certain period of time (Several real life days) after its previous death, and it has a chance to drop a rare goodie if killed. It would add a nice reason to be about on maps and if the items could be sold on the MB then windfalls for lucky folks who don't want the items. Of course anyone in on the kill of such a NM would be up for a drop possibility, thus preventing any claim grabbing and such idiocy.
Failing any of that, having them in the mob station to buy would be the next best option. Available to get if wanted after a period of time after the limited release passes.

I do not agreed with SE merchandise emote/Minion should be made available seeing as some of them wasted over 100$ on them...
Now Legacy player... I feal like this should be made available. Only PC had chance to get it was for playing like 3 months of 1.0.. Some of us have been playing since ARR yet we no even considered Legacy no even recognised for it so I see some people piss off.

Whether they SHOULD or not is pretty much irrelevant. SE is unlikely to do this, because doing so undermines one of the core draws of the product: its limited factor.
Right now, when SE puts out some hundred-dollar statue or whatever with an in-game tie-in item, folks know that this is their ONLY chance to snag that in-game item. By making the item limited, folks are encouraged to think, "If I don't buy it now, I'll never have the chance again! I don't even WANT the statue, but if I don't pony up, I'll miss out on the minion/glamour/mount/emote/whatever and never have the chance again!" So, they give SE a hundred bucks, the statue goes into the closet to gather dust, and the player has a new minion that follows them around for a few days before the next hot minion shows up. Even so, the player has the warm, fuzzy knowledge that if they ever wanted to bring out that minion again, it's there for them. They didn't miss out!
This is a model that WORKS - but only as long as they maintain the exclusivity. The moment they start making old items available, people start to understand that with a little patience, they can get the thing they want without spending that hundred bucks. And save on closet space, too.

Personally, I can understand why they don't make the 1.0 stuff available anymore. That was a different game at a different time. That being said though, I do think our characters should have more body tattoos! I don't know about the 1.0 mount, since the sylphs give a Goobue too, so I guess that's obtainable?
With the other items, after a year or two (at most) has passed, I think they should give us the option to purchase them with achievement certificates. Like, I don't care for plushies or statues, so I'm not going to spend whatever it was to get the physical item, but I'd absolutely invest my time in earning achievements in-game to get the points to buy them with certificates, especially if the original items are out of stock or codes aren't valid anymore.
Of course, I also understand that SE can't pay the bills with achievement certificates, but if the items are out of stock/print anyway, what's the harm in releasing them to those who have invested enough game-play time and effort and may not care for the physical items themselves anyway?
I also don't mind if the version we do get is slightly different than the original. Like the moogle cap in Mog station is different than the original one's color. That's fine with me, because you still get the item, and you can still tell them apart. Oh, that guy pre-ordered ARR, oh that guy bought that on the mog station (I don't think anyone really looks at that stuff anyway but...)
There is a reason why they are called Limited and exclusive content. I don't think SE would like a legal issue for false advertisement. IF anything they did request to have it re released, example the Shiva statue.
