fantasia addiction

i used to change my race about once a month , but now i use about 2-3 fantasia a week ..
i see some people in this game who had the same character for years , and never thought of using a fantasia . how do you do it ?

If I really wanted to give another race a try I usually just made another character. I have my main as a miqo'te and a hyur+au ra alt around. This way if I was really serious about playing a character with that race or look I would be willing to go through the effort to level it. I don't think I would be happy with fantasia because I like having all the options available instead of cycling between them.

Well, I only alternated between Hyur and Au Ra (Hyur with horns). It has a lot to do with the fact that my character has an "identity", since I used her in my stories/comics I made along with my other characters. Turning her into a Lala or Roe would defeat the idea I have about her, or my alts.

Because I work full time and I don't feel of giving them 100's every month for stupid fantasia bottles.

If they would give us better servers, better content and just more stuff to do then I would be more then happy to get some extra stuff in cash shop besides my sub for them but how it currently is no.

Let me ask you this, how do you do it?

My account is from 2014 and I'm proud to say that I only have bought Blazefire sabre & Bennu mount. Oh and a carbuncle mount but that was a gift for a friend I met in game.

The money that some players from the RP community spend (like over 1K on their char because they use up to 10 fantasia bottles per afternoon) I spend (much less though) on other games because I'm simply bored and there's nothing left to do.
So what I said above if they would give us more then I would play this game more instead of other games and give them a bit more money trough cash shop chizzle.

By being satisfied with my decisions. The only fantasia I've ever used was the free one I got from subscriber rewards.

I fantasia may be every few months. Mostly because I get the itch to play a female character and to wear the female only clothes. When I fantasia, I try to stay that way for at least a month before changing back. So far I have been a male lala, female an ra, and female miqote. However I will never change him to the bigger races since they are just not me and I never change completely when I do fantasia (I always use same hair color, hairstyle, eye color, heart marking and mostly same skin color)

I've looked pretty much the same for over seven years now.
It would be disrespectful to King (the character) if I (King the player) changed her entire being like that.

I once tried a new hairstyle and I just couldn't do it. It wasn't "me" if you know what I mean.

I change my hair, but that's about it. I still have the free fantasia they gave us knocking about somewhere. It spoilt feel so odd not to be in game me, if that makes sense.

Easy, i just remember that alot of the money we pay does not even go toward making ffxiv better but toward other SE games/stuff

I've gone through a few hairstyle/color changes, but I've always been this height and build. This feels like what my character looks like and being a different race/gender combo, even a different face or tail option would mean being another character entirely. I created a femRoe alt for when I'm feeling like looking different. But I hardly touch that character at all, I don't think I've even gotten out of the starting city yet.
