Pugilist Tanking

The 2 things I noticed is you were taking a lot of damage compared to our marauders, and that this was an easy run as ifrit made a lot of jumps.
I think that on a low jump run pugilist would either get owned, or simply deplete the mages mp.
Maybe after 1.20, or 1.21 this might be a bit more viable.

As a healer, I've noticed that many heals are wasted on the tank - if he has lost 1500hp and on yellow, usually you will see 2 or 3 mages cast cure3 and heal for 3000 total. That's when I thought the extra damage I take doesn't matter much as long as I don't die.
MP was never a problem for mages, but the tank's positioning and survivability on his own always mattered the most. When the tank died it was because all the mages were running away or theres only 1 mage spamming heals and dies from eruption.
Yes, we were quite lucky on the jumps and it saved me from repositioning ifrit a few times. But it was my first time as a PGL, everyone was skeptical and took it as a joke. If I ever try this again , I'll probably have a different action bar as what I used was what I had equipped ages ago (provoke I equipped last second , you can see its on cd at the beginning of the fight)

I have been soloing many of the coffers lately. So I was curious on your gear set up for this. I can only tell so much by gear looks. Did you have double meld evasion body/feet/hat?

Currently I have evasion/m.evasion feet~ str/attack hands ~ the claws~ turban (I think double m.evasion hat would be better)

Evasion does almost nothing against Ifrit, probably because his claw attack is considered an ability and not an attack so it can't be evaded. As for my gear ... it was nothing special. Alpine war jacket from DH, silver tricorne, felt kecks , felt bracers, hunting moccasins. 1 Eva IV on boots and 1 HP IV on legs thats it.
