Unsubscribed today Eureka killed it

I agree... If this game got me THAT mad to where I'd unsub I'm stopping that day and never coming back, character being deleted and everything. I wouldn't be playing a game if it drove me to literally cut my funding from it.

If I have a 'flatrate' for a theme park and I don't like the 'brand new' attraction, I don't cancel my sub unless I don't like the theme park at all anymore.
And if I dont like the theme park at all anymore and I'm just hoping for a new attraction to bring back at least a bit of fun I'd cancel my sub anyway.
I'm not supporting a whole park just because of one thing, while everything else sucks and I call it boring.

Its like your bored from rollercoasters and rides in general and expect one new ride to be sooo new and refreshing that it changes that again. Not gonna happen: "It's only one loop more and instead of space theme we have a western theme. Soooo boring, 2h line to have a ride pretty much the same like all the old rides I'm tired of. Just the ol' up and down. Bring us an actual new attraction".
Imagine two hundred people in Disneyworld protesting before the management buerau because the new attraction isnt 'really' new and just as boring as the old stuff...


When a new park gets a new ride and I'm saying "Dis better be good, else I leave this shithole" its a good question why I'm still here at all.


Same for netflix abo... why should I cancel this when a new show is shit, if I still enjoy the old stuff?
And if I dont enjoy the old stuff, is one new thing really enough to keep me subbed? Not really.

I dunno.. but I was only explaining why I would delete it. Like I mentioned if this game got me that mad where I'd unsub.. then I'm gone completely. I don't like doing second chances in life with games or people for that matter. I have a burn once burn all. It's just how I am. I'm not very forgiving in that.. I been burned too many times by people. But I'd freely admit I'm odd so it's kay. Hell I deleted a ton of alts before I got this character I have now. I just don't like having that baggage.

Yesterday for example, I actually played a bit of AoE III even though I haven't played that game in ages. I have +300 games on Steam and I'm pretty sure there are games that I'll never play again but I never thought of fully removing these from my account, because there might be a day I'm like 'hey I'll do this again'.

Let's say you have all jobs max, all relics, all raids & ultimate cleared and you're just waiting for something new, they add Eureka and you really dislike it so much (the rest of the game you do like however) so you will take a break, unsub and then 3 months later there's new raids and stuff to do that you actually really like doing here.
Will you never come back because they messed up one thing (Eureka)?

Thats easy to answer.. using your examble that's not something I'd unsub for. So I'd just not do the content that I don't like. Tho to be fair I also wold give it more than a day before shunning it cause it's like day 5 and people are still learning things about it. Now to answer your question abit more in detail, why IF I unsubbed I delete my characters? Even if I had everything cleared and whatnot.. cause at that point.. if I'm planning to leave the game and kill my funding. I plan on leaving forever so leaving that stuff there would just poke the back of my head until I came back and remembered why I left in the first place. So it's easier to just delete it all. If I got all that stuff done anyway then if by an act of god I came back I'd just do it again. I'm used to starting over as that's how every game was back in the day. Hell my first playthur of FF7 was without a memory card cause I was a broke high schooler with a hand me down PSX that I had to fix in order to even play. It took me a YEAR to beat that game btw... no memory card for a year. Everytime I died/ power went out/ someone turning it off made me resart from the beginning. So I'm used to it. It's just a game anyway, if you did it once you can do it again. But that's just me.. you have to figure I'm the guy who can listen to ONE song on repeat for a year nonstop so... take that as you will. I hope that helps ^^

You realize people can just stumble upon hunts randomly and kill them and get achievements that way, right? I know I've gotten a bunch that way.

Everyone else got the point except you, that's why I said that.

Just in case, I'm going to explain it:

There's too many people that uses the sentence "I'm unsubbing because X" and then they don't do it. They use the impacting word "unsubbing" in an attempt to get some attention.
I checked OPs profile to check if he's still playing, and yes, he's still playing. Checking it in 1 month aprox will prove if he lied or not.

We need more healthy constructive threads and less "I want some attention" threads.
