Not worth my time. Have fun everyone who does.

As to the loading issue. Have you tried turning off the other players battle effects? With the zerg fest NM's are it helped me a lot. In case you aren't aware they can be found under the Character Configuration, Character tab. I set mine to Own = Show all, Party = Show Limited and Others = Show None.Tried going in again, but it sucks even more than it did before because all anyone wants to do now is the NMs, except that either I usually can't reach the NMs before they die, I die either trying to get there or at the NM itself, and even if I'm there, the NM doesn't even load on my screen because there's too many people. So whatever, I'm done with this until they actually make the non-hunt aspect of it more viable.
They need to increase the xp when fighting enemies solo. To need crazy amounts of xp to only get 30 to 70 xp per kill for enemies ranging 3 levels below or 3 levels above you.
Was this even beta tested?
This mode gets boring fast and I find the content very limiting
That's good to hear. Can we also get a way to bulk open the lockboxes and exchange crystals? Something like the purchase quantity box we have at vendors where I could request to open/exchange 50 items. Doing hundreds one at a time really adds to the grindyness.Thank you all for you feedback on the Forbidden Land, Eureka Anemos.
After reviewing comments we received from users worldwide, we have decided to implement the following changes to Eureka lockboxes and their rewards in a hotfix scheduled for the end of March.
- Eureka potions will be added as possible rewards.
- The rate at which fireworks are awarded will be reduced.
- Various gear, as well as the Wicked Winds Whisper and No Quarter orchestrion rolls will no longer be untradable and may be put up for sale.
Please be advised that the lockboxes obtained prior to this hotfix but opened afterwards will be affected by the above changes.
Other than all this, I've been enjoying the Forbidden Land, Eureka Anemos. It feels similar to Abyssea in FINAL FANTASY XI, and we've been needing something that makes us actually work together in this game for a very long time.Thank you all for you feedback on the Forbidden Land, Eureka Anemos.

Yes, I turned those down a while ago (because of hunts, appropriately enough)As to the loading issue. Have you tried turning off the other players battle effects? I feel like there needs to be a discussion about what good MMO design is. Anyone who got things like relic and mythic weapons in FINAL FANTASY XI at their relevant times knows that Eureka's basically that, but potentially faster. There are so many posts about how Eureka is "boring" or "not worth the time," but quite frankly, I disagree, and I feel the demand for instant gratification is too strong with this player base.
I agree with this. I think that discussion would be very valuable and in a way, that's what we're having.
I do think you are misreading people's motives though. The fact that some of us find Eureka 'boring' isn't simply a cry for 'instant gratification'. I don't want an 'instant Relic' and I don't think anyone has asked for that. Getting something without any effort at all is extremely boring and devalues it in many people's eyes, mine included. eg, when WoW started showering everyone with Purple gear in WoD, I stopped getting excited about it.
But I cannot say Eureka is interesting when there is only one 'correct' style of play, no quests to speak of and no incentive to explore. I've done long grinds in the past but I never found them interesting in themselves or fun, it was purely down to reward and there being nothing else to do (and very few other games to play).
For a modern game, I'd expect a lot more than what we have been given. Killing the same mobs over and over until you level up and can go kill higher level mobs over and over is not terrible in itself but having just that to do in an entire new area is disappointing.

I'm sorry but no this is nothing like relic and mythic in FFXI. In FFXI dynamis used to be relevant content, that had meaningful gameplay. Here Eureka is merely a zergfest such as all open world content in FFXIV.I feel like there needs to be a discussion about what good MMO design is. I would have been fine with something like dynamis or abyssea (which Eureka is nothing like).
