Why is the North American community so much worse than the Japanese one?

It's called not being a door mat. We're very individualist.

Trust me, Japan is not all sunshine and rainbows. They have very high suicide rate compared to other countries. I would NEVER want to live in a collectivist society.

I wish more Americans that I encountered online were like this.
