Viera as the next new race~ Show your support

I do hope the male option for Viera height maxes out to that of a female midlander, while female Viera stay more akin to female Roegadyn. Given what they did with AuRa, i say the reverse would be welcome.

Why not have both short and cute Viera AND tall and statuesque Viera? I recognize its alot of work but this race has been highly demanded for years now so it would be in the best interest of everyone to get it right. Choosing between short/cute viera and tall viera should be tied to clan. Like Raen and Xaela of the au'ra except instead of color its body type. I think this is better than keeping the females as dainty little things only and males as big buff strongmen. this way people can have a cute viera boy or a handsome one, or a dainty viera girl or a tall and strong one

Anything original. Seriously, any race that you could possibly come up with can have androgynous males. Plant people? Robot people? hell even something more unique in the same way Au ra was.

I'd advocate for a playable bird-like race then, since beauty is regularly seen as a trait of many, if not most, bird species' males.

Yeah, I think that would be best. I feel there are some gaps that could be filled by just making the clans very different. You can have the tall, thicc, strong Viera fill that role and the short ones fill the role of cute small people for those that want petite toons.

Would be like 2 races in one. Which means it likely aint gonna happen...

My support! I want Viera. I love their lore and would love to see what XIV does with them. I'd like to see other races, too, but this is my primary focus.

after much thought i would pay for the small humming way bunnies, lalafell size or bigger with fur normal feet (i guess) and cute puffball tail, i have grown to like this idea.

Well why not?
We are already connected to FF12 and FFT world, viera seems to make sense.
If they didnt connect FF14 to above two worlds I would against the idea.
Since we are now connected, they should exist somewhere in FF14 world
