Unfortunately the first week that I failed. Just couldn't get the weapon and pants right. I had the legs down, and tried several times to get the SAM weapon from Shiva, but it just wouldn't drop, so I went with the Augmented Hailstorm Cane dyed pink on my final try, which meant I had to change pants as the ones I was using couldn't be equipped by WHM. I dyed the Kudzu skirt ice blue and tried for the last time. Got a 79. That was with a gold on feet, bracelet, weapon and body, but I only got 2 stars for the legs. That was enough to drag it down 1 point too low.
I think, unless BiS is something it turns out I already have or can easily acquire, I'm not going to bother with this anymore. It's just taking time away from other things, and making me frustrated and angry, and I don't like playing angry. I'll just talk to him in whatever I have on me, take the 10K and go.

Part of me wants to do this too but people are theorizing that in order to get more stuff in the shop next to him, you need to get a high enough score each week (people who scored lowly in the first two weeks haven't unlocked the new items in the shop yet). Some think it might be adding your each weeks score together to unlock the new shop items.I think, unless BiS is something it turns out I already have or can easily acquire, I'm not going to bother with this anymore. I've just been walking up with one character and getting judged with whatever they have on (all 1 star stuff and rose is not happy with me). Skipped one week on that character, just did it and unlocked all the goods from last week, so it seems to be participation based from my own observations.

Has anyone tried the diamond rapier? I got the drop for it, and I will try it out, if no one else has. i just wanted to check first, since I could see RDM being in the same boat as SAM.
Edit: Doesn't work as well, similar to other jobs

But you got at least 50 points each time right? There are from people who got less than 50 for the first two weeks did not unlock the Maquillage, etc in the second week. And then there are few who said they did the fashion report for the first time ever and got a 100, unlocked the item in just their first week. That implies the first set of items need 100 point total to unlock.I've just been walking up with one character and getting judged with whatever they have on (all 1 star stuff and rose is not happy with me). I'm hoping the Leonhart Jacket works, because I don't have the Scion Adventurer's Jacket that nearly everyone is using this week. And I still haven't seen anything that works for caster pants. Seems like they made that one just a bit too narrow.

It doesn't though. I have yet to reach a full 100% and as far as I know I have unlocked everything. (Last things unlocked unlocked were the dress/coat hangers). But you got at least 50 points each time right? I'm more curious how this is working on the back end. Can't imagine there's any devs putting time into this every week to set up the specific perfect set and/or gear better than 1 star. Would guess that the dyes might probably just be randomly picked, but even that could be reduced to a limited pool based on the prompts.
I'm going to guess that the prompts themselves have a limited pool of items that apply, and game randomly picks one as the "perfect." Although, randomly picking like that could cause trouble if it doesn't check for role restriction conflicts.
There's probably always going to be one specific class/job each week. Sure, there might be plenty of broad role gear, but seems like there's always something to narrow it down. Maybe even the game starts with picking the winning job, and picking gear out of the pool accordingly.
