I want to make one which states that I riffle through target's pockets for loose gil to cover target's funeral costs. But, I'm not certain how to write the macro. Any ideas, anyone?

Just had a PLD who apparently thinks Fractal HM is the Indy 500. He took off the instant the gate dropped at the start without waiting for Protect, and literally pulled everything wall to wall without waiting on me or the DPS to catch up. Not to mention he was in DPS stance the whole time until I ended up dying to the group of slimes & minotaur because he couldn't hold hate. Despite that, which almost turned into a wipe, he still took off without waiting for one of the DPS who also died. I told him to slow down a bit, and got no response. Even the DPS were telling him to slow down and he wouldn't. I noticed his title was God of the Hand. I can only assume was probably short on Creation tomes and was in an all-fire hurry to get more to make something for someone.

Note for that dungeon: DON'T pull multiple packs when there's a Chimera or Minotaur involved! You're asking for trouble once everybody starts getting paralyzed, knocked back, or dotted every 5 seconds. Its a recipe for a quick wipe, especially if multiple people get hit with the DoT. I don't care if you or your healer is overgeared to the teeth in melded 350+ gear, its not a good idea in this particular dungeon.

This would be a time I'd let them die until they smartened up, especially if they were asked by multiple people in the party. Some tanks think they're invincible, I swear, and forget that there's another person there with their own limitations keeping them on their feet.

It's really not that bad. Since this patch I've been running w/ a buddy of mine who alts healer and I'm pretty sure he's less than ilvl 330. We've been doing pulls to the wall on these new dungeons since they were released.

On the 2nd pull, which has 2 minotaurs and 2 chimeras, just focus any interrupts you have on dragon's voice, you can avoid the rest. If a dragon's voice goes off, tank may need to self heal/ pop an extra CD, but that's about it. Lots of time to recover after it goes off

RDM/PLD teams are really kinda OP.

I've leveled RDM on an alt and am now leveling it on my main and again today I wound up in a situation with a PLD where he and I duo'd a boss together. I did this once with a WAR too I think but a PLD makes it even easier.

We had a healer and DRG in Nevereap that hadn't ever been there before. They were both knocked off by the final boss's knockback ability. I Vercure'd us through it with an occasional Clemency when I was caught in a bad spot.

It's not the fastest way to finish a fight but still faster than wiping it seems.

Pet peeve: healers with really rude raise macros.Save that crap for statics.
Last Royal City after Hashmal, 90% of my chat log was one stupid macro to the effect of, "I'm not your mother, but obviously someone has to baby you, so quit crying and get up, <t>."
Same healer who burned LB3 while standing at the extreme edge of the arena when the dead melees were at the other end. It raised exactly one person - the BLM.

Just ran Shiva HM. PLD was new, kept shield oath despite the WAR MTing. Just as Shiva hits sword form the PLD rips agro. She turns around and cleaves all of us, MT and BRD are the only ones alive for the next 20 seconds. Politely ask PLD to move into Sword Oath for the next attempt and we clear. Before they leave, their parting words:
"lol idk how two tanks stance make a diff"

I'd have been happy to explain but they bailed after that, non-the-wiser for the experience.

Stuff like this is what turned me off of using Raise macros of any kind. Even "funny" ones can be upsetting if the player in question is getting a raw deal that instance.
