i dont give any comment because i just though they probably found out about it later, its really a very basic problem afterall.

and considering both are in no sync status in low level dungeon and still in their 1st class, let them try out the class i guess. that and healer seems chill with it lol

I just finished leveling roulette, I got Sastasha.

Brand new fresh newbie tank first time in Sastasha. We do the usual greetings, tank doesn't say anything and does the first pull.

They do their aggro combo, and a provoke, and don't get aggro on the second add.

Whatever, they may be getting use to it.

We do the next pull, and it goes the same way. So I suggest to them, to Overpower, and explain how it will get them aggro.

They type in say chat to confirm things. I'm just happy they are listening.

We get to the second boss fight, and I notice they're still using voke when no one else has aggro, so I explain to them how it works.

They still type in say chat, but are super thankful for the tips.

I didn't look at their gear, but I notice they are like at 75% HP with one hit, so healing is a little more uh... Healy than I am use to, but all in all, the dungeon goes on without a hitch and we make it through.

Good job little tank! You go and grow and become a great big tank!!! (Even though you were bigger than me for once since you were a male Roe.)

Recently started trying to get out of my fearshell of healing 70 dungeons on an alt (had a really bad experience as WHM during a Temple of the Fist run on my main). Yesterday had Ala Mhigo, which went pretty decently well.

Got Skalla today, which also went pretty well. Had a newbie (the tank), which resulted in smaller pulls than I had been expecting, but since I had never healed Skalla, I appreciated it. Things went well, SAM unfortunately died during the first boss, which may have been my fault as orbs were bouncing everyone around and I happened to notice their HP dip late. But ressed them, and we went on just fine. Second boss went better, no deaths, mechanics were being done. Last boss, I completely misjudged my distance from his proximity AoE and died for my stupidity.

So it ended up a wipe, we all get back up. I apologize completely....to be met with "don't stress it, we got this." Which really helped my confidence.

So to that Skalla party that had the SCH who derped, I thank you for being a confidence booster. You guys were great <3

My bad I was out and in another party and deeply sorry for that. I tried whispering back but you where in a dungeon T.T I logged to run to the store and just got back. I look like an ass for that. So my bad. I only remember seeing one tho. But again I was all over the place, had to get food and left. T.T Now I feel extra bad.

You'd be surprised with the tanks that don't even know what a CD is sometimes, I remember running Fractal HM and the tank never popped a CD and pulled everything. When we get to the bosses he'd pop Sentinel, Rampart, Bulwark at the start of each of em and I just scratch my head going man those would have been useful like 30 seconds ago when you were panicking telling the healer to heal you in p chat with your <se.7> macro.

But hey Plds can block and use Shield Oath that's a CD right?

So in Byakko EX, we all know how the second tiger does two big line AoEs right? Well I always assumed it aims at Byakko or the MT, and if its the later it might explain what happened. It uses the first line, everyone dodges. I go to get ready to get out of the way of the next one as OT, only for the tiger to aim WAY off to the right, to the point where you would have to be trying to get hit if not OT. It was really wierd but not bad. Haven't seen it replicated yet.

In dungeon related news, decided to go Astro for a healer in need for leveling dungeons and got Totorak. Except I haven't healed since the end of HW, am just casual when I was, and forgot to set my cross classes. It goes alright because its low level even with me being the only non sprout. The tank is a little squishy but they do seem to be trying to keep their gear up and even apologize for it unprompted. Then we get to the spider webs, where halfway through I accidently get cut off, the tank was pulling more than one group as well. This wasn't a problem till I got cut-off and noone helped take out the wall. By the time I catch up the tank is dead, but I'm able to keep everyone alive and get em rezzed. Other then that was a typical run.

My girlfriend and I have been getting so many of these, my god.

I've been really loving RDM lately and Selli hates long queues, so she's been stuck healing our Experts for the past few weeks. And it feels like 4/5 days a week we end up with tanks who don't pop cooldowns.

Just today we had some fellow who was min ilevel--full i310 gear with maybe 2 or 3 i315 accessories. Before the 2nd boss he pulls the patrol mob + 2 scorpion things + the last 3. This guy popped n o t h i n g. As soon as PoM was over, he lasted long enough for Bene and Tetra and then he was dead. Then he gives a cheeky, "I guess I'll pull smaller since this healer can't handle healing big pulls."

Displacement.
I try not to use it much because it sends me in a bad place most of the time and I still have to get used to making it work right. Anyway, last time I used it it sent me over the purple line of boss lockout, just a second before it closed. I managed to get back in on time but really panicked there for a moment, getting locked out of the fight because of that would have really sucked. It was a bit funny but it also made me more scared of using it now.

Had a WHM today in 50/60 that didn't know they had Medica 2..... that was fun.

I had an AST in 60 dungeon who didn't have Swiftcast. I...

Basically, I die to adds as RDM (I got aggro, used Diversion, took them to tank, healed myself, but he absolutely wouldn't take them so ended up dead) and no raise is coming, even though I waited a while. I imagine it's some "lesson" because I should watch my aggro, so I just release and rejoin. But at next boss the DRG dies and is only ressed after the end of the battle...hardraised, with the full cast. I wanted to say something but didn't have the courage to, as it wasn't a very friendly run. I just wish Verraise wasn't so high level.

And for the whole RDM raising before healer: as someone who mains WHM, I tend to try and raise instead of the healer when playing RDM, but in no way for the glory, just because I know it's a lot easier to raise as RDM. Even when a SMN raises before me when I'm the healer I'm personally grateful, that way they spare me the mana, a Swiftcast use, and attention I may need to give to urgent healing. As for comms, I understand comming a dps who does more than just dpsing, just because they get comms so rarely while we healers always get a load. Besides, raising is normal, I don't see why a healer should get a comm just for raising, and I can't stand raise macros because they're calling attention and asking for comms for something that's expected by the job.
