Mendacity (new)

For those unaware: While it seems just ambiguously "eastern" at a glance, the look of this equipment is specifically Central Asian-inspired. The caster headgear in particular is heavily reminiscent of traditional Mongolian designs.

So basically, thank your Mendacity tomes for helping fulfill your additional Xaela needs.

I don't know how how I feel about these designs. The only one that looks good to me is the pvp gear that has the Ancient Rome look.

I honestly can't tell if I like this set or hate it. I'm sure it'll look better once its dyed but as is the shapes and muddy colours all blend together. Of the lot the tank gear is the only one I can see myself not instantly glamming over...

Otherwise, I actually like most of the new gear! PVP is easily my fav, and Im capped on wolf marks and set for the real endgame

Yeah, the healer set is the best looking one to me as it breaks up the coloring with the white.

Otherwise, I really like these designs. I like these sets better than most of HW's tome sets!

I think I like the mendacity set the most.

Hoping at least one of them has a skirt/shorts as its leg piece, as that seems to be relatively common for longcoats/robes that cover the legs.

Out of all the new sets, PvP stands out the most. Sigmascape is good, but I'm not happy that we're doing more robes for healers and casters for the 50th time in a row. Mendacity is being glamoured over pretty much instantly. Robes + Roegadyn do not exactly go well unless they're well designed (ie. Alexandrian, Allagan, and High Allagan)

I'm trying to pick which is the NIN gear for sigmascape.. but I can only give safe guesses for caster, heals, plate and dragoon.

the set is the imperial doman set with a different colour and a larger collar (it's the officer variant but yeah). you could dye the one we can already get right?
