If you leave a dollar bill on a park bench someone you likely don't know will pocket it. If you put up a training dummy in your make believe yard someone you don't know WILL use it end of story. Don't put it out publicly if you don't want others using it that's just life and that's not negotiable. There is a reason you don't see trampolines and pools in peoples unsecured front yards.

So...What you're saying is SE should make private backyards for houses so we can put this kind of stuff in them and strangers can't get to it? >w>

Why not just skip the middle man and ask for instance housing across the board. Who needs neighbors.

...that's actually a pretty good idea. If nothing else, such an option could expand gardening options.
