So, so true Gath! "PSX" doesn't feel troubled with your persona. PSX thinks Gath is of good standing. Gath doesn't need to be insulted for being Gath. THere's no need to be offended or go on offensive stance because someone is different. Eorzea is full of diversity so get used to it-"live and let live"!

OT: I think BRD will be very versatile, but if you prefer a straight DD role, then they could just as easily switch to ARC.

OT: I'm on the fence about the changes regarding Archer still, so I don't really have a lot to discuss. When I started Archer I never envisioned myself becoming a Bard from it. I planned on taking up Bard in the future when it was released, just, not in the way SE is planning. So for now we'll just have to see how it works out when it drops.

I suppose SE considered Bard more of a Final Fantasy staple than Ranger, but I can easily see them (let's be honest, they HAVE to) give archer further splits down the road, such as Ranger, Sniper, Hunter, all with different "base" class requirements.
