    Why aren't they nerfing healers already?

    I mean..it's getting to ridiculous levels. You can't stop a mammet push if there are three healers there. You can't gather ce if one healer is present to heal or fight you. You can't retake mid if three are there. You can't even kill one if they LoS intelligently.

    Why is it so hard for SE just to slash potency? It's making RW not fun. Why do they have to wait so long?

    Because they'd have to balance it differently in every mode, and they don't care about PvP. It's a complete afterthought in this game so they can keep the subscriptions of the 47 players who actually care about it.

    We have already get like 5 pvp balance patches/adjustments after 4.0 you can not say SE not care about pvp.

    The answer isn't in a raw nerfing of healers but revisiting the Soaring buff. Healers are still effective, but not unstoppable in Frontlines, nor the Feast, yet in RW, 20% more damage, less damage taken, and more healing really is absurd, especially when healing potencies already sit well above most dps weaponskill potencies.

    To my recollection, Fire IV is the only thing that actually matches a Cure I's potency, everything else is generally 500 below it, and in the case of Cure II, nothing matches that. Even Foul is 4500.

    It's not even just the potency. All of the healing spells are MUCH faster casting times as well. Healers also have a huge advantage in RW because there's tons of objects/terrain to use as LoS compared to frontlines(esp shatter). Anyone with even basic MMO pvp knowledge can use these extensively and become far more survivable.

    Soaring isnt enough. Stacked healers are a problem in all modes. It's the same in FL even without soaring, the potency and OGCDs they have are too much. If it unbalances Feast, who cares, its a dead mode that gets pops slower than even old frontlines. Feast had six seasons to get people. It's failed. If it's so unbalanced to reduce potency in it, just get rid of culling time, which is only there because healers dominate too much.

    If SE things RW is going to be ok with months of this, well, they can have fun watching it be as dead as feast.

    I wasn't aware their casts were faster. I know some of the big heals/regens are oGCDs, but if standard casts are faster, yeah, that's pretty imbalanced.

    As for Soaring, I mention that as it would be the most low impact change they could make. Healer stacking is another issue to tackle as well, my only answer for which would be to isolate and overpower a single healer and work your way through them. It's a lot of work, but not impossible, and also avoids imposed role limits, which I'm sure would only piss players off and drive them away.

    And in a rare occurrence, I'll agree with you Riyah, that if SE won't be timely with the changes and fixes RW needs, they can't bear any complaint or question if/when the mode dies.

    Well 4.2 has a significant change to Feast in making players respawn where they were KOd instead of back at entrance, so KOs will be less annoying, less punished. So it's ok to nerf healers across all pvp modes now, right? Maybe they will do that on or after 4.2. If they don't nerf healers then they should buff tanks and dps, same result.

    It's 1.3s cast time for basically everything a healer has in pvp. I think all of the heals across all 3 classes, plus their nukes all cast at that speed. For reference, Fire IV is 2.3s to cast.
