Why not buy the statue, use the code and then sell the statue to someone who maybe doesn't care about the emote to recoup most of the money?

To be fair, Aivi, you shouldn't attack people who want to buy the statue. It's very tacky on your part. If they want the statue, let them have it. You clearly don't want it (or can afford it, depending on your situation). If that's the case, you miss out on the statue. Live and let live and stop trying to guilt people for their pleasures.

Quite the opposite. If you know how ff census were made, ingame items give statistics transparency of business properly done.
Selling emotes or minions exclusively would only show what the player wants in -this- game, not what the producers can generate
for their games. Especially in FF series, there's a lot of "Oh I have this art book/map/statue of him/her. Why can't we have them here?"

Not intending to insult, it's all a matter of personal perspective. There is no way I could afford to drop £120 on a statue, anyone who can is in a different bracket to me lol. I don't see how that would invalidate my other points? But anyways that's your point of view, enjoy your emote ^^

Off topic a little but I don't feel like opening a new thread for this. Anyone here who got the Odin statue previously recall if the in-game code is account-wide? I just got my copy of Eorzea Symphony soundtrack but the item code included is only character-specific. Which brings me to my question, isn't merchandise bonus code account-wide? I was under the impression that all bonus item being account-wide. I wonder if I just remember wrongly or if this is a new thing.

I did not buy the Odin statue, but I believe the code is account-wide. Most promotional codes are; that's why it's so odd the Eorzea Symphony code is not.

I personally think the Shiva statue is gorgeous, minus the black base which I think is very boring and uninspired. I may actually pick her up, if I can get some insight on the quality of any past SE statue releases.
