    Heavensward, there's no contest between those options for me. Haurchefant and Ysayle broke my heart, I miss them so much. ; ;

    I did however get excited when Estinien showed up in some SB cutscenes though, and I also enjoyed having Zenos as the main antagonist. But, for me, nothing beats those 2 certain cutscenes in Heavensward...you know the ones! ; ;

    Not through Stormblood yet, but so far I'd have to say the whole Heavensward / Dragonsong wars section. The story definetly had weight, and some rather good characters. And I'm not thinking about Haurchefant actually, just in general. It had some nice sidequests too with the dragons.

    I am finally, FINALLY, at the end of SB and will be finished with it later today. I can say without reservation and with confidence that Heavensward has been my favourite expansion. ARR was long, tedious, and extremely drawn out and I will (and have) gladly pay to story jump through it again on whatever new character I make (made a new one on Gilga as soon as I could). SB has been.. eh. I haven't felt a connection to the storylines or the characters I've met along the way. It hasn't drawn me in as much and I think it was spread over too large of an area.

    Heavensward had a lot going on in a relatively small area and I felt that I had a greater connection to the characters; I got to better learn their drives and focus than in SB. The conflict between the dragons and the history there was just as interesting as the situation going on with the Ishgardian church (although, the Vault is probably my LEAST FAVOURITE place to be in like..ever).

    My sis is playing through now (she's lvl 34 WHM) and I've already braced her for a very long slog through ARR.

    As someone else asked earlier, aren't 2 and 3 basically the same thing? I mean, I suppose if you separate the expansion itself from the later patches it got...

    Anyway.

    Since Stormblood isn't done in story telling yet, I feel there isn't much point in voting on Stormblood's story. That said, what's shown so far looks to be an awesome story to me... so far. (The main villain could have used a little help though) Honestly though, I'd suggest waiting until Stormblood's story telling is done before making any votes to it.

    Thus, for now, my vote goes to Heavensward. Seeing how things finally end for the Dragon Song war was one of the best story telling moments in the entire game for me, along with the internal conflicts of some of the characters during the said story.

    Honorable mentions to the Hildebrand stories across ARR, Heavensward, and Stormblood (even though it's only just begun for Stormblood) for bringing some much needed laughter in all the serious stuff the game oftens throws at you. ARR was especially good for Hildebrand. Heavensward Hildebrand stories had its moments, but honestly truly felt rushed compared to ARR's. Here's to hoping the Stormblood Hildebrand story ends up being as polished as ARR's.

    Heavensward/Dragonsong by a long shot. Ysayle, Haurchefant, and Estinien were amazing characters and I love them to bits.

    While it is still early in SB's story, it has failed to capture my interest. So far, SB has incredibly bland protagonists (God. I hate Lyse. What a dumb character.), bland antagonists (Zenos, Yotsuyu, and Fordola are so boring and one-dimensional. Also, Fordola's motives are so incredibly weak I was literally laughing during those cutscenes), and over-all bland story (putting both Doma and Ala Mhigo into one expansion was a terrible idea and made both feel rushed).

    I did like the Azim Steppes though. And the whole conflict with the Qalyana and Lakshimi is very interesting to me.

    One thing I like about both expansions, is the whole 'pack of people traveling together'-theme.

    Minor spoilers for both HW and SB:
    In HW it was the WoL, Ysayle, Estinien and Alphinaud in particular, like that evening around the campfire before they approached the dragon to degotiate. SB does the same thing with the WoL, Lyse, Gosetsu and Hien - mind, both the expansions had other characters for parts of the journey, but these are the ones that stuck in my memory the most. And both have a narrator for every part of their journey. I really like that!

    HW overall storyline was great.

    And I really enjoyed the stint in the far east greatly so.

    I feel like its unfair to include SB in this because its literally not finished....if you were to put this into an episodic TV show, we'd just have the first hour long pilot followed by the second episode. You can't really judge it just yet...

    With that said, HW was the best in my opinion. I feel like nothing with ever top the build up and the fight with king thordan.
