Stagger maintenance times?

Once again I sit here, stripped of my enjoyment of FFXIV due to the times that SE perform maintenance always being during EU peak times.

Please SE, consider the option of staggering the scheduled maintenance times for the sake of fairness to all.

Right now I think its just after lunch in JP, why not do a maintenance 1st thing in the morning, JP time once in a while?

It was the same for the 5 years that I played FFXI.

Oh and no... I wont be emigrating to another country any time soon lol (before someone mentions it :P ).

I think you have to consider that human beings have to be up and conscious to carry out maintenance. This is done in their time, not ours, for that reason. They're always starting right after I get off work, but I'm used to this already. lawl

I'm not asking them to get out of their beds at midnight or anything, just a few hours earlier in the day

Maininance is usually done when it least inconvinances users, which is usually over night or in the case of a school vacation times, however its harder for a world wide MMO, so they do it I assume when theres the least people online. In Japan they are at work now, in US they are at work therefore the majority of players that would be online are EU right now and it has always been known that EU players are of teh minoroty on FFXI and FFXIV so this time least inconvinances users.

It's early morning for them right now I think, they could easily do some maintenances a few hours later once in a while.

Lol considering what they fixed, I don't understand why there is a maintenance at all. I would have understood if it was a
Need or Greed option on Ifrit loot, but this little thing here could have waited till 1.20 ;
