    Yoshi-P characterizes this practice as "Willing friends helping friends, so they can enjoy content together". This translates to an incentive for the friend who the other friend is helping level to join and play FFXIV (ie. another paying account, or 1 more person filling up your server making the community larger). A portion of the forum community characterizes it as "Power Leveling", with all the stygma that goes along with that term.

    not trolling, randomly figured it out, then was told i was gonna get banned for it, then i saw tons of topics about people claiming to get banned for it. also u every wanna see tons of bots go to any repair npc or grid limsa ward. alot of people atm dont really care and just do it in main town too :P

    well whomever told you you would be banned was wrong, what topics are you talking about? I spend quite a bit on this forum and haven't seen one.
