Would be nice, once you approach the level x5 thresholds it slows down so much.

I think you may be barking up the wrong tree, in corelation with Battlecraft and Crafting leves... Land leves give a much more substantial SP reward from what I remember.
You may end up getting what you asked for, more leves and still end up with the same ammount of SP at the end of the day.
alot of people get leves > teleport to camp > complete leves > return to city.
2 leves per cycle really isnt worth the anima cost when it takes 8 hours to get the 2 anima you just spent for 2 leves back.
especialy when in a further 4 hours after that your leves reset again.
and thats assuming you favour the current camp location.
it actually takes longer to chocobo between the camps and the city that it does to complete the leves.
with the level time / travel time ratio 2 leves just isnt worth it. they definatly have to add more than just 2 gathering leves per range.
while they're at it maybe they can fix the annoying XP gain from levels like 20-25, 30-35, 45+
seems to me that the XP scaling is WAY off from what it should be, ESPECIALLY at higher levels
I think secondary hand leves are a great idea. Most harvesters I know don't even touch the secondary hand so it would give them a reason to.
EXP-wise, it's fine as is. But the tedium associated with the back and forth is enough to lose your eyes over. Secondary tool leves seem like a great idea.
Of course only two type of Gathering leves not enought. But two leves per time with all way to the city takes about 15 minutes. Then you can take two more leve return to the camp and start over. Even with long way it is more efficient than grind. I don't feel uncomfortable with only two leves. But I would be happy if devs add more types.
I support leves for secondary hand gathering, I'm assuming they are removing tiers from the search skills, this would be a good oppertunity to add a search skill for offhand locations such as quarrying, spearfishing and harvesting.
The lack of leves for DoL and DoH for that matter is really irratating and they need to address this in between now and 1.21.
XP needs to scale with level also, as doing humblehearth leves at 33 is soooo slow, at the moment it kind of works like this.
25-30 fast XP
30-35 slow XP
35-40 fast XP
40-45 Slow XP
45-50 Sooooo slow XP ;.;

Moar Leves, Yes Please.
Also, a suggestion.
When you have gathered all the items for a Leve, if there is still time left on the Leve, give us the option to keep Guardians Favor active, let the Gathering Points continue to respawn and allow us to continue Gathering until the timer runs out.
It kinda pisses me off sometimes when I get all the target items from the 1st Gathering Point in just 5 minutes. I feel that I am losing a lot of potential exp when I get "lucky" too soon.
At the very least, fix it so that Guardians Favor lasts the entire 30 minutes even if the Leve is completed. We should be able to continue to get the bonus on regular gathering points (and non-leve mobs) for the full 30 minutes.
This would also help us save Guardian Points if we can do 3 Leves in 30 minutes and would add a nice bonus to open world grinding as well.
Papa was a rolling stone...wherever he laid his barbut was home.
Davorok I think it works that you are given a set pool of XP and whatever you gather is deducted from that pool, so regardless of how much you gather or don't gather you should get roughly the same XP at completion.
I could be wrong and if I am this is how it should work lol.
You may be right and the Early Completion Bonus makes up for any "lost exp" from non-leve items gathered (does GF even affect non-leve items? I always assumed it does).
I just don't like the idea that GF fades after 5 minutes of Gathering or Killing upon completion. It should last the full 30 minutes and it should affect non-leve items and mobs for the entire duration...and it should carry over to the next Leve without having to spend more Favor...imho.
