    2000 S ranks is absurd. Yes it should be lowered.

    3000 A ranks is fine.

    Also it would be a slap in the face to those who have worked so hard and have the mount, if we nerfed it down.
    This is a game where all the uber stuff you get and difficult content you cleared is rendered So Last Season every 3 months.

    If you're wanting your achievements to leave a lasting impression, you're so playing the wrong game.

    Either lower the required 2,000 Rank S kills down to 1,000, or increase the rate at which Rank S targets spawn. I'm all for a challenge but 2,000 is excessive.

    Actually yeah, S ranks should be able to spawn more frequently than they currently can... like if A ranks are around 3-4 hours (from what I remember?), S ranks should maybe be around 6-8 hours, not closer to 3 days. It's not like they are worth SO much more than A ranks that the significantly less frequent spawns are warranted anyway.

    More frequent spawns would actually be more welcomed than simply lowering the 2k figure and it'll probably step on fewer toes to boot.

    It isn't even asking a lot, it will still take an exorbitant amount of dedication and time to just get 1000 S rank kills.

    It's already been obtained, which proves it's not impossible. It's a mount that signifies extreme dedication and the requirements shouldn't be changed.

    Just out of curiosity, have you ever partook in S rank spawning? Because even with the window absolutely open for them, it can take that long just to try and spawn the bugger. There's a collective sigh of relief in my linkshells when the last S rank is marked as dead on the tracker and everyone can go back to whatever it was they were doing, for the next couple of hours before the windows start opening again. Reducing the respawn window, especially by that much, sounds all too brutal to me XD

    1) 2000 to 1000 is a big cut, esp if you combine it with no.2 on your list. I think, for people who do not play this game 24/7 its maybe better to cut the 2000 to 1500 tops and indeed lower the rq for the S to pop and their time. It sucks they reset their WAIT timer when we have a maint and they throw in alot of maints after a (big) patch > meaning no S for a long time.

    what i think is best for the system and for the most ppl, is not change the req but change the hunt system (a bit). A respawn 2-3hrs is okish, bc you have lots of zones to cover and you can solo a bunch while the server is asleep. The S respawns should be lowered and also have a higher % to pop when ppl try to pop them. Some pop 100% if you do this or that and some don't pop at all even if you do the right thing over and over. This way ^, people can still enjoy the game and get things done and move to hunting in any other downtime. This game is all about gaming right? make it so that ppl have a 'fighting chance' and not only the insane devoted ones.

    If they adopted a Zeni NM type system from XI, it would it much more bareable. You get a pop item from X B rank. Force spawn X A rank to get a pop used toward X S rank.

    It's slightly more bareable than luck grinding.
