if theyve identified it as an empty hud slot issue maybe its if you log out as a non-job role (such as conjurer as apposed to white mage, or miner / botanist) which describes my situation as map mining is usually the last thing i do before log off for bed.

Happened to me too. not on the job that I logged out as, but every other job I have. Job Gauges mostly.

Oh and it put back the MSQ thing which I dislike....

And random pethotbar??!?!?!?!!?!?!

That really annoyed me, took me about 5 mins to find the tick box for it >.<

I thought it was just a weird bug for me or something. It's so annoying to log in on my main and find half my icons invisible or moved around all weird.

It happened worst on my main and a little on a couple of my alts, I'm just glad Im not the only one with this problem.

Only my job gauges were reset thankfully.

Mine and a friends too but its still pretty annoying.

Had it happen to me, thankfully, as with many others, just the Job Gauges (and the Main Scenario Quest notification).

For future references you can save your UI from the login box. Click config and if I remember it should be the first option. You can save the UI and then restore it whenever you want (which is amazing if you want to play at a friends house and hate having to redo your UI or if you have a fresh OS install).
