Ooops Camie! You caught me while I was editing.
Playing around with the simulator earlier I accidentally deleted a Flawless synth and then of course, ending my synth with Observe + Focused Synth failed because I was 8 CP short.
Assuming I'd derped (which, I had but not in the way I thought) I changed it to a CSIII when I posted, which doesn't really make adding in the extra CZ look worthwhile.
However, with the missing Flawless in, I have just enough CP (I'm maxed I think), to do an Observe + Focused at the end with only 5 Tricks of the Trade which perhaps, makes it more worthwhile.
I read through the melding section of your guide and one thing I would suggest is that people might consider melding their CP to max even if they can't afford the Control Materia that would normally occupy the top slots on some of pieces. Since we can dig materia out now, it's not much of a loss to remove it and re-meld later.

My prayers have been answered. I'm so glad that you're back where you are worshipped as a Crafting Goddess. =3
I like to do that to people!
Good call. I'll add that in soon!I read through the melding section of your guide and one thing I would suggest is that people might consider melding their CP to max even if they can't afford the Control Materia that would normally occupy the top slots on some of pieces. Caimie is vastly overrated. There are so many strong crafters around I don't even know if I belong to the top 10% of the crafters in the game!
However, I do take one thing seriously, I don't release a guide unless I think I have gathered a substantial amount of knowledge of the game. That's why it usually takes months after an expansion is release before I publish a new guide. Hope this one will be helpful to you too!

Any chance this guide can be uploaded to a Google doc library or something like that? Your current URL is blocked by my firewallFF14 Advanced Crafting Guide (Part 4 Stormblood) by Caimie Tsukino

There's obviously plenty of room for improvements. So all kinds of inputs and comments are welcomed..

I don't know if you are in the top 10% of crafters or not (or even how one would rank crafters that way), but you have the most well-written and informative crafting guides I've read. I appreciate the effort you put in there, and it's pretty obvious others do as well. Kudos!Caimie is vastly overrated. This guide is fantastic. Good work Caimie!
There may be better crafters around, we have no way of knowing.
But there is no one more dedicated to helping us all understand crafting than you. There is no one who writes guides even half as good or understandable as yours.
You are a true goddess and a gift to us all.
