You can always play around with the settings as well When you first download, it'll come with some default settings to use, but you don't have to keep them that way.

Oh believe me, quite aware, since I already had to turn quite a number of things off as it, in my mind, actually made the game more hideous, lol. Although that's specificly just individual effects, not the numbers behind it all (something I consider myself vastly too stupid to get right if I start tinkering with, hehehe >w> )

Probably just gotta get used to it, since the colours dont appear completely washed out for once, and night actually gets properly dark now. both being things I really like, especially for screenshot purposes XD
