Signed! Not quite sure why housing is basically RNG on who gets to log in first, it is honestly just sad and poorly designed.

Signing this too.
Other MMO's out there doesn't have this issue, yet this game does? In agreement, more wards and plots please!
Signed, even though I don't really need a house lol o3o
Don't ask me about U
Yeah I'm not paying a sub fee that goes towards content that the developers want to be "exclusive" so they limit it to a point that less than 20% of the playerbase can access it. The difference between this and something like mythic or savage raiding is that with enough work I can do either of those things, and they're still exclusive. This, no matter how much effort I put in, I can't access. So. Effort should reward exclusivity, not pure dumb luck and limited quantities. That's like me paying for a meal at McDonalds and them coming back and telling me they used my money to make my meal but gave 20% of my fries to someone else 'cause they got there first. So yeah, no thanks. It just seems dishonest in terms of the handling of players' funds for development. (Cool to put all those new housing items in the cash shop, btw.)

Signed.
My free company and I have been having this conversation back and forth and I only see two real options to fix it.
1.) Take the LotRo method and have the server spin up a new ward whenever one gets full.
2.) Allow only one house per “server,” per account. This would give people a much larger chance of “owning a piece of the game.”
Either way, Square Enix, please do SOMETHING to fix this nonsense because as it stands it’s brutal for those of us who have been saving millions and can’t get anywhere with it because they’re ALWAYS full.

Got up at 5 in the morning to get ready in the tight schedule I had before going to school and all I got was a lobby error to ruin my day.
Because the game error'd on me I lost my plot besides my friend and had a bad day and all this left a very sour taste in my mouth...
The housing system in XIV is broken and Yoshi is gonna have to stop with the "special snowflake" tune when the housing system is explained and FORCED in the main story progression!
Everybody who goes through the story HAS to get through wards and be disappointed when they finally have the money to buy a house only to find that they were all sold before the player even started playing the game...
At least have the DECENCY to keep the housing system out of the players faces if you can't make it work...
I would be embarrassed AF to show this system to anyone...
Anyway, SIGNED!!!

Signed, SE are doing this whole system wrong, the BEST way it could be done is an auction over a week long period of time, giving everyone the ability to try their hand at the house. Additionally, if a house has just been demolished it should have a cooldown of a week, and in this week it could be announced in some way to players that want to know, a simple bool value set to true that will send a moogle mail to the player saying "Ward X, Plot Y is about to go on auction!". Not only that but if they were to expand every housing map to accommodate another.. I don't know, even just 10 houses, that would mean 10 x 2 (normal + subdivision) x 12 (amount of wards) x 4 (amount of housing zones) = another 960 houses to go around for players per server. None of these things would be hard to implement, and if they say "oh but our servers can't handle that.." then they can take back their inventory spaces, take back their ventures and beast tribe tokens being currency, and use all that space for housing instead >:[

/signed. I'm just looking at my screen not really wanting play this game right now...
