Bun Haircut vs Miqo'te

Once upon a time, we dreamed of a an haircut with small buns which was incredibly cute:

The hype might not has been as high as housing was, but the hope some races were crushed the same way, when they noticed this:

Which makes me wonder if someone just asked themselves "would anybody wear small buns on the side like this ? Wouldn't it better like this ?"

Excuse the rushed edit which took me literally 3mn. But. Seriously ? Would you mind saving this haircut for all the miqo'te players and makes it looks like it should ?

Ugh yes, please fix this square. I would prefer them *anywhere* else or an option to just remove the damn things. The hairstyle is cute without the buns too but kind of unuseable as is. At least give us the option to move the damn things!

Miqo'te ears sit far enough back that the buns could probably sit in front with little to no clipping (at least not any more than other hairstyles/headpieces). Putting them on the sides of the head like that really isn't flattering at all. This could have been such a cute hairstyle, too.

These buns look ridiculous! I was really looking forward to this cute hairstyle, but now I am terribly disappointed.
If you can't move them could you at least get rid of the buns? This is such a cute hairstyle, but with the buns like that it just looks stupid.

I honestly feel like SE is trolling us, because I am under the impression that they check out the hairstyles on every race/gender to see how it looks.
And for them to look at this and be like: THIS LOOKS WONDERFUL LET'S PUSH IT THROUGH...

I mean, they don't check them as though they make one rendering of the hairstyle and then the program just arranges it however it wants, because this would have been done by a person. Someone physically used their hands to put these buns there, and then whoever is in charge of approving these things approved it.

What I want to know is who the heck were those people?

Devs, please fix his for the poor Miqo'te, and the poor me who has to see the people who are running around wearing it despite how silly it looks and being unable to take any part of my life seriously.

I'm really confused as to why Square Enix thought that to be the solution to the placement of the buns. It looks very dumb. It's really sad, because such a cute hairstyle has been ruined. Was that really the only option?
