You know a system is horribly broken when instead of being excited for this new patch

^My friends logged in at queue #200 and all the large/meds are bought, leaving only like 10 smalls. >90% larges (even meds) are bought by individuals and not FCs. I'm taking SS since I'm curious if the owners are gonna change within a week.

I don't understand why they won't open more plots? It's basically a gil sink and reduce their attractiveness for house RMT flippers.

Create 60 more plots that can only be bought by owners of max level FCs or raise the cost already. It's ridiculous that so many FCs have the gil to buy large plots/houses but there's so few supply for it (again, I'm not surprised that there are so many RMT flippers)

I know my excitement about this game shouldn't be tied to housing but I am really disappointed. Maybe it's stupid but...

There's a lot of content locked behind workshops and airships and my Free Company cannot experience them because of this.

Glad I'm not the only one who was mainly looking forward to a chance at a house. I was looking forward to my FC that has been with the game for all these years to finally get a break and get a house. Even switching to a smaller pop server (not as small pop anymore) seemed to not allow us to get a house. Within 10 minutes everything was sold out. My launcher messing up on me probably cost our best chance and we weren't even going for the new zone or the Beds area.

I got up an hour and a half earlier, camped the play button for 15 mins on ps4 to hear my friend tell over voice chat that "someone bought your plot"...
All because of a loading error...
I would've been in the first 200 to get in queue but instead was 1083th...
I was supposed to be buying prepping my house with my friend as my neighbour...
Now I'm just gonna go to work with a dead man's face in half an hour...
The housing system in this game is disgusting and I feel dreadful inside right now...
I was supposed to have fun, not get NTR'd out of my enjoyment of the game...

Got a small house at the 4th choice plot I had. Was 200~ in queue when I logged on and somehow managed to get there in time. On my server all the wards were sold out in 10 minutes. Was madness.

Friend got a house in the rush. They literally got it and said "This whole housing system is crap."

I don't even know what SE is trying to do anymore. They claim the point was to get cash off the market, but Reddit is full of people selling these new houses for 100 million+ already getting richer.

People laughed at me when I said what transpired at 3am wasn't going to happen. Not necessarily laughed per say, but said that housing would last until at least noon. I'd be the one laughing, if I wasn't pissed for being right after calling it months in advance. On the bright side, the obvious conclusion didn't cost me $4.95 a minute to chat with Ms. Cleo!

Well.. 3.3 got four extra wards, so now we wait for 4.3? >.> The real fun is when you see the same FCs/persons getting multiple plots, because that's needed and all.

Normally I'm excited to unlock the content and play through it, but I haven't bothered after the debacle this morning. A lot of people's hopes and dreams died within the first 15 minutes of the server coming up. It just leaves a bad taste.

What's so bad about it is that players have bought all the lots up & are selling them for more than what they are worth. SE should've known that this would happen & should've made adjustments accordingly to prevent this. They definitely knew that 1000's of players where waiting on housing. Makes no since at all how this played out.
