No it's not cool to gang up on other people, no it's not cool to be hypocritical. I agree there. I don't know how you know each other but it seems like you might. Your friend should not feel threatened or persecuted. But you also need to understand that every post here seems on a soapbox and is subject to lots of disagreement , sometimes by people with poorly thought out logic and/or little civility. I like civil conversations and always encourage them but I understand that as everyone here has a mask to hide behind they will be nastier than if they had to account for what they say face to face.

I applaud you trying to defend someone against what you see as injustice, but this thread isn't about that and you and her(?) are constantly derailing it with odd threads. Expect some kickback. If you truly feel this is an attack on someone there's that little /!\ in the corner, Use that on the offending posts. Though admirable, you are trying to MOD when you can't really and people are getting agitated. Go, report those you think in violation of forum terms or those you feel are contributing nothing but toxicity to the conversation an actual mod will review and act on things they see.

You both deserve baseline respect, but when your first comments in a thread insult everyone who supports a proposed idea, you're gonna get pushback, some of it very unfriendly.


And again: Customization for EVERY ASPECT of my character is important to me and you don't get to decide what is and isn't important. Neither do I in fact. I support the OP's idea and every customization option I can get and will until I get bored of this game. This includes butts, faces, noses, waists, chests, feet, hair , eyes, clothes of all kinds and being NAKED (within ESRB rating) if I'd like to . If you don't like that , I get it. These threads will never affect anything directly and we don't speak for you, but saying any more than "I don't like this idea" or " I won't use this feature" isn't contributing in any useful manner.

In the beginning I found this thread pathetic because of the demeaning tone in your post and your obsession with a characters butt, but the more as this post progressed the more sad I felt. I felt sad because of the state you peoples minds are in. You think it's okay to demean, you think it's okay to outright bully, you think it's okay to punish one for their issues but praise another for theirs simply because they are on your side. It's not even making me mad, it's just really, really sad and I hope somewhere along the line you people will come to realise that behaviour like this is not acceptable outside forums.

On a final note since you don't seem to be understanding it at all, Pixie was not feeling anxious about the topic. She was feeling anxious about you guys aggressively ganging up on her.

Just for the record, this post is nothing about more customisation at all, this is about butts and this is about sexualizing and demeaning women as a whole.

I'm a woman, who plays as a woman in game. I would like a bigger butt (and other assets) to match my own thank you! It's not all about sexualizing its about reality and how I want my character as a whole. Having body options rock.

I LIKE BUTTS. sue me. and if thats sexualizing, fine! we are all human! there is always something people like physically about another and theres nothing wrong with that.

The part that made us both uncomfortable is the attitude and demeanor of the original post and the following posts. Not the actual subject. What also bothers me is that our opinions on it about the subject itself is derailing, yet people posting about their own body shapes or their own gender isn't derailing at all, regardless of the aforementioned having absolutely nothing to do with the topic at all and is completely irrelevant.

Just to add to the topic, I don't believe that "wanting to look more like myself" has anything to do with this. If you would like to look more like yourself in this game you would ask for more advanced character customisation, and not just a butt slider. I really, really don't believe that's the actual reason behind some peoples wish for a butt slider.

On another note, it's extremely rich to say that someone who says they have anxiety is looking for attention yet posting about someones body insecurities isn't at all.

And yes, I may be derailing a bit but this is in response to responses to my original reply.
