I fully expected Hildy to land in the Steppe and deal with a certain lovelorn Oronir, but oh well.

^ this. I was hoping SB Hildibrand will involve a crime around steppe and touch on the 4-way relationship between Hien, Cirina, Sadu & Magni. It has the potential to compete with Edda for best side quest story! A pity they went with the catfish instead... T-T

While I'm not especially interested in dragging Cirina and Hien back into it, this would be a good excuse to try to get senpai to notice little Magnai.

As for Edda being the best side-story... They ruined the ending to all that, IMO. May still be 'best' by virtue of not having much competition, but wouldn't take much to overtake it with that in mind.

I'm trying hard to forget that ending, why did you remind me? T-T But yeah, Hildibrand or not, would love to have a re-visit to the steppe. I do wish that SB Hildibrand is closer or better than ARR season. HW have more small burst of laughter but overall I must say the ARR season was better.
